Meet Tammy Noel of TableMade

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tammy Noel.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Tammy. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
TableMade started by accident, or should I say a beautiful disaster? I love to entertain and love anything style related so for my wedding I really wanted unique tableware. Most of the companies here cater to a southern, vintage bride, which I am not. Took some time but I found a local company in Atlanta that offered rose gold flatware and immediately knew I needed that for our special day.

About two months before the wedding, the owner of that company e-mailed me and shared that she sold her business and all of her inventory, so she would be unable to fulfill her commitment to service our wedding. To say the least, I was shocked but not oddly not upset. Wholeheartedly, I knew that this was a sign that I need to bring modern, curated tableware to Atlanta.

Has it been a smooth road?
Not entirely smooth but not nearly as bumpy as I thought! Every day, I learn something new from TableMade. Coming from a corporate retail background, the usual tough parts of starting a business, product sourcing or business finance, have been relatively easy and fun to exercise!

I’m not a risk taker so every decision, from a buying trip to new branding material for my business, is researched, researched, and researched again. I just always want to make sure we’re only offering the best to our clients.

However, that need for perfection has come at a cost. The real struggles I’ve experienced have come from my need to be absolutely perfect. From social media to testing new collections, I tend to take the scenic route and wait way too long to just put us out there.

However, I’m learning to really push myself to just go for it! Post that picture, test that product and just dive in!

So, as you know, we’re impressed with TableMade – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
TableMade is Atlanta’s newest tabletop rental boutique. We specialize in curated modern tableware, which really sets us apart from the usual rentals available in the South. In our collection, you’ll find anything from concrete candle holders, brushed rose gold flatware or blush gold-rimmed glassware. Catered to modern brides or hosts, we strive to be a style destination for all things tableware or tabletop decorrelated.

I’m most proud of our level of service. Weddings are stressful! Events are stressful! So whether it’s sending a client a Starbucks e-card or sweet note to the bride, we really aim to be a glimmer of hope that’s it will all come together. Simply, reminding them to take a break and reflect on the amazing journey to come has gone a long way.

During my wedding, that’s something I wish I had a bit more of. So I aim to deliver that on every single reservation, for every single bride. Above all, it’s all about providing the highest quality service, product, and style for our clients.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I love the diversity of Atlanta! There are so many much potentials to meet so many people with beautiful backgrounds and diverse stories.

Dislike: Dare I say it, the traffic but being a South Florida native, so I am accustomed to it.
