Meet James Adcock of Pedisource in Sugar Hill

Today we’d like to introduce you to James Adcock.

James, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I got started in this industry after meeting my wife who is Vietnamese. We started selling salon and beauty equipment after working in the nail industry for a few years. After 2 years of working with her family as President of Worldpedispa, LLC, I branched off on my own as an E-commerce based salon and spa equipment supplier to the high-end salon, spa, and resort markets.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The struggles have been very real. While simultaneously launching my own company, my wife and her family also launched a nail supply business right here in Duluth, Ga., which has consumed most of their time and kept her away from our children. It has been a struggle with time and patience learning how to properly budget and manage my SEO, maintaining an efficiently ran website, handling all of the marketing campaigns, and most importantly, finding and servicing our clientele. One of the biggest struggles for me was learning who and what companies to go to for specific SEO services and dealing with companies that just waste your time and money.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Pedisource – what should we know?
Pedisource, LLC specializes in pedicure spa chairs and nail salon furniture for the high-end salon, spa, resort, or medispa. We help new and existing salon owners, salon managers, and technicians source and service their salon equipment from specs to end use. What sets Pedisource apart is that we are the only supplier that is both American and Vietnamese American based (most companies in this industry are Vietnamese American based company with English as their second language), and our customer service and personal attention is always direct, available anytime, courteous, and knowledgeable. Most of my competitors are not interested in helping their customers businesses’ grow but more about their own profit margins.
