Meet Kristi Burns of Kristi’s Heavenly Peach Cobbler in Austell

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kristi Burns.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Kristi. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I started baking and making my grandmother’s traditional peach cobbler around four years old, my mother has pictures to prove it. I’ve always enjoyed baking but really began to enjoy it when I had to create alternative ways to bake foods due to an onset of food allergies.

My cobbler became a hit at every function. Friends, family, church folk, and everybody would request my cobblers and speak on how tasteful they were. It became so much that I found myself making more than four large cobblers a week. It was decided then that it was time to invest more in what I love, hence calling myself the cobbler queen.

My journey into the peach cobbler began shortly thereafter and now my business is established and I’m living out my dream.

Has it been a smooth road?
It has been smooth for the most part but I will say things began to take off a little faster than I expected. The first challenge I found was making sure I could keep up with the demand while also maintaining a quality consistent product.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Kristi’s Heavenly Peach Cobbler LLC story. Tell us more about the business.
Kristi’s Heavenly peach cobbler specializes in vegan-friendly peach and peach-less cobbler. I am known for my southern twist and special ingredients that when combined create the most flavorful vegan cobbler you’ve ever tasted. My peach-less cobbler was created for the “dough lover’s.” Those individuals who may not enjoy fruit or pick the fruit out and eat around it are sure to become a fan of the peach-less cobbler.

My peach cobbler is not comparable and our peach-less cobbler is what sets me apart from the rest. It’s been a hit since created. I also take pride in making sure each cobbler is made to order and offer delivery services throughout the metro Atlanta area. My cobblers can be shipped nationwide and a few of the states I’ve had the pleasure to service already are California, South Carolina, Florida, Alabama, and Tennessee. I have a few more additions coming soon to the menu, so stay tuned because they are sure to be a taste bud pleaser.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
We see ourselves purchasing a food truck and moving along to a storefront initially based in Atlanta. From the initial storefront, we would expand to multiple states and other countries. We are so excited and can’t wait to share our cobblers with the world.
