An Inspired Chat with Anthony Mobley Jr. of Las Vegas, Nevada

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Anthony Mobley Jr. . Check out our conversation below.

Anthony , it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: What is a normal day like for you right now?
A typical day for me currently involves finalizing edits on my inaugural independent book, Trying to Make it to Heaven in Church Hell, Volume One: Favor and Faith. It also entails packing for my relocation back across the country to the West Coast (Las Vegas, Nevada)where I will continue to follow the path God has set for Mobley Marketing 19 aka MM19 VIP nurturing my creativity and elevating my career to new heights, which presents considerable pressure and numerous challenges. But I know with God all things are possible!

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Anthony Mobley Jr. I am the youngest of two in a family of four. I have an older sister (Nakia Mason) who owns two businesses and manages a dental practice. I come from an entrepreneurial family. My father operates T’MO’S Barbecue, a pop-up BBQ business, and my sister owns Kaylanee Enterprise, while I own Mobley Marketing 19. I indeed come from an entrepreneurial family. Additionally, my sister is a licensed Realtor in North Carolina, and I have recently completed real estate school in New Jersey, marking the beginning of my real estate career new Real Estate career which I will continue in Las Vegas following their requirements. I have been blessed with the gift of marketing and creativity, and I have had the privilege of connecting with renowned entertainers and legends in the industry who have graciously helped shine a light on my business, guiding me towards growth and the right direction. Which I will forever be grateful for Gods favor over my life.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
I have consistently been true to myself since childhood. I was gifted and talented in every sport I participated in. I was part of the All-Stars and consistently demonstrated exceptional athletic ability. Whatever I focused on, I received God’s favor. I strive to become a better person daily, aiming to be the best version of myself, and I am confident that I have always been unapologetically great. Now, I am finally at a place where I recognize my worth and I am working towards fulfilling my purpose, which feels incredible!

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Yes. A couple years ago my mother was diagnosed with appendiceal cancer, which drastically altered my life and the lives of my entire family. The world seemed to come to a standstill, but I serve a God who is more powerful than any cancer, and I express gratitude to God daily for sustaining my mother. Every day she remains with me is a blessing. That experience was a pivotal moment when I contemplated relinquishing my purpose to care for my mother, but fortunately, circumstances took a turn for the better, and God continues to watch over my family. The Ateam is truly blessed! My mother and I have weekly brunch dates, I’m going to miss when I move but she’s only a flight away! The bond my family has is truly blessed and unmatched!

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes, the public version of MM19 VIP is the authentic me. I don’t think I could be anyone else if I tried, and I actually take that as a blessing, not a curse, because I’m thankful for my flaws and everything that God has blessed me with to make Anthony Mobley Jr. who I am because there’s only one me, so yes, the same public me is the same private me. I am actually a little bit reserved , I would say, and observant , even though my friends would seem to disagree, but I’m a Capricorn, so you figure it out, lol. We read the room and are the best judges of character! We are the goat for a reason. And I am officially the “Capricorn Closer” being born January 19th!

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What do you think people will most misunderstand about your legacy?
I believe that people often confuse confidence with arrogance. As one of the most humble individuals you will ever encounter, I would like to dedicate this article to the memory of Quiana Morton, a dear friend who passed away in 2017. Upon our initial meeting, Quiana confessed that she had mistakenly perceived me as aloof or pretentious; however, after engaging in conversation, she discovered that this assessment could not have been further from the truth. From that moment on, we forged an unbreakable bond that lasted until her passing. Therefore, I would assert that the most significant misconception regarding MM19 VIP is the assumption that I am arrogant when, in reality, I am merely radiating God’s favor. I will forever unapologetically shine bright like a diamond! So grab your sunglasses because the shine is only going to get brighter!!
