Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
In my view and even in my personal life the Lack of Trust and Betrayal can break a bond in relationships and in work spaces.
Dishonesty and the erosion of trust are foundational causes for relationships to fall apart, as trust can be easily won but it can be easily lost as well. Also poor communication and Misunderstandings and a lack of empathy can often create distance and allow conflicts to fester rather than be resolved.
Conflict and Avoidance or Aggression can also lead to bonds being broken. So how do we restore relationships once it seems they have been broken? I have learned that communication is always the key to understanding what is at stake and both or many parties must be willing to come to some sort of resolution for restoration. Forgiveness is also a way to restore in order those who have been hurt to move forward.
The ability to express thoughts and concerns openly, combined with active listening and empathy, helps navigate differences constructively and deepens understanding.
When did you stop hiding your pain and start using it as power?
Wow! I must say that in my younger years I hid a lot of pain and frustration due to being a recipient of bullying and through my school age years it was hard for me to see myself as worthy or having a purpose. Yet , as I grew older I found that my pain would be turned into my purpose. I actually wrote a book about my life story ” Unspoken” My Pain, My Purpose , My Story. I found that writing was the bright light that pushed me to Power. My Pen turned out to be my Power, because when I would feel down or discouraged I would use the power of my pen to write what was on my mind, it empowered me to do more and now I share my story with others who are dealing with the Struggles & Resilience.
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. Where are smart people getting it totally wrong today?
Most times Smart people are more prone to making silly mistakes because of blind spots in how they use logic. These blind spots exist because smart people tend to be overconfident in their reasoning abilities. I have always heard that some smart people have brains but tend to have little common sense.
Yet on a serious tip-Smart people might make mistakes on average, but there is no one who can say they don’t make any mistakes. Being overconfident sometimes for some smart people can be their greatest mistake. When you are good at something, it’s easy to overestimate yourself and think you are better than others. Humbleness is always the way whether you are smart or not.
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. When do you feel most at peace?
When do I feel most peace? Uumm, I must say I feel most peace when I’m not working or have anything stressing me . I’m at my most peace when I’m in a quiet place and doing what I love to do the most is inspiring others . I’m at peace as well in knowing that I am doing what God has purposed for me. I don’t ask for much but I strive to have inner peace in my heart , my mind and my spirit. I thank God for the “Peace that Surpasses Understanding”Philippians 4:7.
