Good morning Louisa, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What is a normal day like for you right now?
As a full-time medical professional, my painting is primarily a weekend activity, especially during the shorter days of the year.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi, I am Louisa, the owner and person behind Lulus Vintage Designs. I officially started Lulus Vintage Designs during the 2020 lockdown, beginning with small furniture pieces and a paintbrush. Since then, I’ve expanded to larger pieces like china cabinets and complete bedroom sets, as well as full restorations of vintage items.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
My earliest memory of feeling powerful came much later in life. As I navigated adulthood, I realized that I could not rely on anyone to help me. I had to do it on my own. Through that, I have learned some great skills and have developed a “can-do” attitude that has and will continue to carry me through life. Do it for yourself; don’t wait on anyone.
What fear has held you back the most in your life?
As a true introvert, the idea of creating content with me in it is terrifying. I am trying to get more comfortable in front of the camera.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
If I knew I had 10 years left, I would stop working so much, if not completely. I would focus on pursuing my painting full-time and travel more.
