Perry, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. Have any recent moments made you laugh or feel proud?
My last shoot with my guy Santrell, it made me appreciate my journey. He is a whole movie director and he working with me on my projects.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am Perry D Clarke , I am an entrepreneur of many talents. I start with a clothing line, then pivot to a Vj of multiple podcasts and my YouTube channel. My brand is called dangerousparadise , and now DangerousParadisetv. I want everybody to know to keep going with anything you start.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
A friend of mine Cedric Whitby told me at one my shoots , Perry when knew this was gone be you since you were young. I’m like how did yall know this and I didn’t know. Him and my classmate saw me before I saw myself. It was surreal to hear this.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Yes I was , I was a time when I couldn’t visualize it. I reach a crossroad , I was exhausted and my money was super low. I wasn’t going run my parents or anybody. The music from Nipsey Hussle Crenshaw mixtape came on and push me through. This was toward the end of my college career, it pushed me through college.

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
They would tell you the hustle, he is addicted to it. Turning nothing into something, it a thrill. Being able to be out action into word.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What do you think people will most misunderstand about your legacy?
That it not easy at all, perseverance is key to success.
