An Inspired Chat with Prince Finest of Atlanta

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Prince Finest. Check out our conversation below.

Prince , we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
I pray !

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
“I’m Prince Finest , from Newyork city . I make trap-soul and melodic rap, and I produce my own beats because I want every track to sound exactly how I feel it. My music’s about life — the pain, love, losses, and lessons I’ve been through. I also model, which lets me express myself in a different way outside the studio. What makes me different is I keep it real and vulnerable; I talk about the stuff people are scared to say out loud, because I know there’s someone out there who needs to hear it. Right now I’m focused on new music and visuals that show my growth and who I’m becoming.

Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
For a long time, I couldn’t see myself clearly I only saw the pain and my mistakes. But my grandma always looked at me and saw something greater. She believed in me before I believed in myself she saw an artist, a dreamer, someone with a purpose. Even when I doubted everything, she reminded me my voice mattered and my pain could mean something. Her faith pushed me to keep going and become who I am today

When did you stop hiding your pain and start using it as power?
I think the moment I stopped hiding my pain was when I realized it wasn’t something to bury it was something to share. For a long time, I tried to act like everything was fine, but the truth is, my struggles were shaping me. Once I started putting my pain into my music and my beats, it became my power. Turning what hurt me into something people could feel and connect with made me see that my pain wasn’t a weakness it was my strength

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. Is the public version of you the real you?
The public version of me is a piece of who I am, but not the full story. People see my music, my beats, and my modeling, but they don’t always see the struggles, the doubts, and the work behind it. I’ve learned to share my truth through my art, and that’s the closest to the real me I can give. I’m still growing and figuring myself out, but I want the world to feel the real me in what I create, not just the surface

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What do you think people will most misunderstand about your legacy?
I think the thing people might misunderstand about my legacy is that it’s just about pain or heartbreak. On the surface, my music comes from struggle, but the real story is about growth, resilience, and using what I’ve been through to inspire others. I want people to remember that even in my darkest moments, I turned my experiences into art, and that’s what I hope defines me not just the struggle itself, but what I made from it.
