Tanesha Latonya shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Hi Tanesha, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What is a normal day like for you right now?
I am working each and everyday 9 to 5. Then after work I rest a bit and I start working on my brand
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi! My name is Tanesha, and during the day I work as a federal government contractor in Human Resources. For nearly a decade, I’ve supported several federal agencies with staffing, onboarding, and position management. I truly enjoy being part of the process that helps people grow in their careers and ensures organizations have the right structure and support to succeed.
Outside of my HR work, I’m the founder of Endow’d Intimates, a lingerie brand created for full-busted women who want both comfort and confidence in what they wear. Endow’d Intimates is all about celebrating women’s natural curves and designing pieces that offer real support without compromising on style. As a Black woman-owned brand, it’s important to me that Endow’d Intimates reflects empowerment, inclusivity, and representation — making every woman feel seen, supported, and beautifully endowed.
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
What breaks the bonds between people and what restores them?
For me, it all comes down to trust. When trust is broken, even the strongest relationships can begin to unravel. It creates distance, doubt, and a sense of uncertainty that can linger far longer than words or actions. But when trust is present, it builds the foundation for everything meaningful honesty, respect, vulnerability, and true connection.
Restoring trust takes time, consistency, and intention. It’s not just about promises; it’s about showing up with integrity, empathy, and a willingness to listen. Whether in our personal lives, our workplaces, or our communities, trust reminds us that we’re safe to be ourselves and to believe in one another again.
For me, trust is what turns ordinary interactions into lasting bonds it’s the thread that holds relationships, teams, and even dreams together.
What have been the defining wounds of your life—and how have you healed them?
The defining wound of my life has been losing both of my parents just 18 months apart and not having the chance to say goodbye to either of them. That kind of loss changes you. It’s a pain that doesn’t really go away, but it teaches you what truly matters.
For a long time, I carried the weight of that grief, feeling like there was no way to make sense of it. But over time, I’ve learned that healing doesn’t mean forgetting it means finding purpose in the pain. I’ve had to dig deep, to be strong, and to keep pressing forward, even when it felt impossible.
Now, everything I do in my work, in my creative pursuits, and in how I live my life is about honoring them. I carry their love, lessons, and legacy with me every day. My strength comes from them, and my mission is to make them proud.
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes, what you see is what you get, I am 100% authentic everyday all day, Whether at work, spending time with my friends. I don’t like fake and phony people. I am always vulnerable and very trust worthy, in which sometimes not a good thing for me.
Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
I would stop working , stressing myself out behind a job that really doesn’t care. I would find a way to only support myself to work on my end goal and do what make me happy.
