We’re looking forward to introducing you to Tiffany Goode. Check out our conversation below.
Hi Tiffany, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What battle are you avoiding?
The battle that I am avoiding now is the deepest one. The battle of self. The battle of really assessing my fears and doing what needs to be done to transmute those fears into my super powers. I do a lot of meditation, shadow work and visioning on the future. This allows me to transform myself constantly. One of my favorite books is a children’s book by Sesame Street entitled “The Monster at the End of the Book.” It’s all about realizing the fear you have is just you. I’m constantly reminded that I’m the monster at the end of the book. And the monster that I have to slay most days is me!
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Tiffany Goode and I am a musician with trumpet/flugelhorn being my primary instrument, but I dabble in others. I am an energy producer, a vibe shifter, a frequency creator & enhancer, a trendsetter, a manifestor, a fashionista and a sonic healer. I have been a musician for 30+ years. I began living in my purpose fully a little over a decade ago.. I am the CEO of Goode Stuff Entertainment LLC, the leader of the band “The Goode Stuff Experience,” the creator of the GoodGoode clothing brand & The Lioness Den Women’s Music Festival. I am a manipulator of vibrations that create sonic energy in the form of jazz fusion. I have played & sold out some of the most popular jazz clubs in Atlanta as well surrounding areas. I am often approached after my shows by people who are delighted by the music, the energy, the singing & dancing & tell me of the insights and downloads received during the show. I want to thank my brothers who have been playing with me for some time now & helping to create these beautiful vibrations with me, Isaiah Floyd, Manny Roberts and Jacob Gray! I love them to life. We are currently cultivating “The Den” series, which are smaller intimate shows.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
As a child, I believed that life was linear, you work hard and you will be rewarded, that fairness is a common practice and if you are loyal to something it will in turn be loyal to you. I still believe aspects of these things but not in a silo. There are other things that surround these principles. It’s all within perspective & within a paradigm & ecosystem. Working hard without the marketing, communication, business savvy, connections and business relationships is almost for naught. It’s like the saying “if a tree falls on the woods and know one experiences it, does it really fall.” If you work hard and you don’t show it in some manner, does anyone know. We have to be steadfast in our belief in ourselves and we have to stay the course regardless of the indoctrination of our youth. We learn & we grow & we transcend every day.
What fear has held you back the most in your life?
The fear that has held me back the most is the fear of failure. I’m a bit of a perfectionist. I’m working through my fear of failure daily because it can paralyze you. Everyday I tackle my fears. Every show I tackle my fears. I also know that my example helps others to confront and tackle their fears because my example shows them that they can do it too. Ultimately fear is a dream killer. So our job is to heal those parts of ourselves that create that anxiety. God has given everyone gifts and purposes. To not share your gifts and talents with the world because you are afraid is ultimately selfish act & not the intention of God. It’s all a test. It’s all a leveling up.
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. Is the public version of you the real you?
The public version of me is me for sure. It’s interesting because recently people are really seeing me. The external me is not the full me. I hide some of the mushier sides sometimes to protect my inner child who is still bringing me life & allowing me to run for my dreams. People get to experience her for sure upon seeing me & a lot of the light that surrounds me is her.
Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. When do you feel most at peace?
I feel the most at peace when I am doing what I love, with people I love and trust and on my own terms. I love it when I am able to grow & the people around me are able to do the same. No one reaches the top alone. Purpose & community & vision & hard work & God
