Today we’d like to introduce you to Aubree Goldin.
Hi Aubree, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
As of last year, I’ve had the honor of calling Braselton home!
Moving to a new town where I didn’t know anyone was, honestly, a little intimidating at first. But I knew the only way to make it feel like home was to fully step into it — to explore, to show up, and to connect.
And somewhere along the way, that’s exactly what happened.
The more I ventured out, the more I found myself falling in love with this town — its charm, its people, the creativity tucked into every corner, and that undeniable sense of community you can truly feel.
With a desire for connection and years of marketing experience behind me, an idea naturally came to life…
Bree in Braselton — a space dedicated to showcasing the places I genuinely love, highlighting local businesses, and sharing the little things that make this town so special.
Because there’s something really powerful about supporting local, telling meaningful stories, and helping others see what makes a place feel like home.
And if I can help even one person discover a new favorite spot, support a small business, or feel more connected here — then I’m doing exactly what I set out to do.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The idea and vision for Bree In Braselton came very naturally to me. Even before it officially came to life, I knew exactly what I wanted it to be and the kind of impact I hoped it would have. It felt like the most fitting next step for me, not only professionally, but personally as well.
That being said, starting anything from scratch comes with obstacles. As I’ve mentioned before, I truly knew no one in this town — and no one knew me. Since Bree In Braselton is, at its core, about connection, community, and supporting the incredible local businesses here, I knew I needed to genuinely embody that myself.
I already had many of the skills needed to build a meaningful brand — appreciation, marketing knowledge, and creative abilities — but I also needed to become deeply connected to the heart of Braselton in order to showcase its beauty and community in the authentic way it deserved.
For me, that meant joining the volunteer team in Braselton so I could be at the center of local events, news, and community involvement. It allowed me to become more hands-on and build real relationships with the people who live here.
In addition to that, I sought out a job in Downtown Braselton and accepted a position at a small local business in the heart of downtown. That experience has given me an entirely new perspective and the opportunity to connect with, learn from, and build relationships with the people of Braselton on a more personal level. You truly begin to see a town through a different lens when you learn the stories of the people who call it home.
Becoming involved in the community in these ways has played a huge role in Bree In Braselton’s growth, authenticity, and personality, and it has made the journey incredibly meaningful along the way.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I graduated from Georgia Southern University with a degree in Communication Studies, and since then, I’ve spent the past few years building my experience in social media management and marketing. From working as a marketing coordinator to collaborating with a well-known public figure and company for over two years, every step of my journey has shaped the way I approach storytelling, branding, and digital connection today.
I’ve always been drawn to digital media — photography, videography, and the way people can creatively express themselves online. Over the years, I’ve also built my own platforms, including a podcast, YouTube channel, and TikTok with thousands of followers, which has only deepened my understanding of what resonates with audiences.
Creating content and connecting people through it has always come naturally to me, which is why stepping into the world of marketing felt like a no-brainer. Now, I get to combine that passion with my love for local communities — helping businesses tell their story and shine in a way that feels authentic and impactful.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
What I love most about Atlanta is the creativity and opportunity here. There’s such a strong sense of ambition in the city — people are constantly building something, creating something, or chasing a vision. Whether it’s art, music, small businesses, content creation, food, or culture, Atlanta really encourages individuality and innovation. I also love how connected the community can feel. There are so many opportunities to collaborate, meet inspiring people, and turn ideas into something real.
One thing I like least is how fast-paced and spread out the city can feel at times. Atlanta has so much going on, which is exciting, but it can also make it difficult to slow down and fully enjoy the moment. Between the traffic and the constant hustle culture, it’s easy for people to feel burnt out or disconnected from balance.
