Today we’d like to introduce you to Donae Williams.
Hi Donae, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
A real estate professional and a native of Pennsylvania, I was originally born and raised in a small city named Philadelphia. I got into real estate because of my father, who wears many hats, a real estate agent being one of them. I tried so many career paths, psychology, nursing, law, and I just didn’t feel passionate about any of them. I wanted to choose a career path where I would wake up every day and absolutely love what I do. My father kept putting pressure on me, constantly saying “go-to real estate school.” And when I went, I loved it! I practiced real estate for a year in Pennsylvania before picking up and moving to Atlanta. I always traveled to Atlanta for leisure, but I started to pay attention to so many successful people out here, so I just knew I had to get out my hometown and chase my dreams but on a different level. I am now a licensed real estate agent for the state of Georgia. My experiences & expertise is helping me build a concrete foundation for my career as a REALTOR. My goal is to assist clients and guide them through one of the biggest investments of their lives.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not at all. This field is about building strong and solid relationships with people as well as gaining their trust. If you’re looking for “right now” money, I wouldn’t suggest this career path for you. It takes time to build your brand & clientele.

I am a real estate professional. I am a buyer’s agent. I specialize in helping real estate buyers navigate the real estate market. As a representative of a purchaser in a real estate transaction, it’s my obligation to protect the interests of the buyer and work to ensure they’re getting the best deal possible from finding the right property, negotiating the best terms & assist with any setbacks that may arise.
