Today we’d like to introduce you to Jai Wav.

Hi Jai, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Born in Brooklyn Ny, I developed the love for music, coming from a Caribbean background, it has nurtured my style in music production, My sound is diverse, classic, futuristic, and percussive. Graduating from Fuil Sail University, I interned at Circle House Studios in Miami where I gained experience in the industry working under the music industries biggest giants. shortly after I moved to Atlanta to begin my independent quest as a Producer. Since then I have created my own brand. I’ve done showcases, beat battles and have even worked on projects with many artists in the city. Today I still strive to be the best version of myself and to grow as a musician.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road definitely has not been smooth, I’ve been told no many times, Different individuals have tried to take advantage of my talents, many nights I had to sleep in my car just to make it to the next day. I also had my share of the street life in order to survive and put food on the table,

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m known for my diverse music production and style. I have been apart of an iconic producer community since I’ve been making my rounds in the city. I am the official in house producer for SoundCapsul which is an artist showcase series created by the iconic Ilounge in East Atlanta. I’m mostly proud of the progress I’ve made and the different artist that believe in me to bring their creativity to life, I’m set apart from others because of my attentiveness and attention to detail when it comes to creating music with others.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
I’ve learned patience and also learned to stay consistent and to never give up. Always keep God first.
