Today we’d like to introduce you to Latosha Humphrey.
Hi Latosha, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always been a very creative person. I have the mindset that if I see something, I can recreate it and make it my own. The very first piece of jewelry I designed was in 2010 and they were a pair of hoop earrings with large beads and sparkle. I was inspired by the women on Basketball Wives who wore these large statement earrings and I said to myself, I can make those! Kreative Krafts HQ is not just home to jewelry but it is also home to stationery and all-natural body care. My brand continues to expand because I’m a crafter at heart. I am the do-it-yourself Queen lol. There’s something about making something beautiful and someone else appreciating the hard work and beauty in it as well. There will be moments where you may doubt your vision but just put it out there and see what happens. If you’re the only one that loves what you do, then that’s all the support you need.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
My business really picked up during the pandemic. I decided to put making jewelry to the side for a while and make face masks. It did really well and I’m beyond grateful for the support I receive. You will have moments that you want to give up but don’t! Just take a moment to assess some things and come back to it. It’s okay to take breaks. It’s definitely okay to rebrand. Whatever the case may be, just don’t give up. The best way to show confidence and that you’re an absolute boss is to keep going. Support will come from some of the people you least expect. Just focus on perfecting your craft and everything else will fall into place.

Kreative Krafts HQ specializes in creating quality jewelry, crafts and so much more. Whatever I put my mind to, I make it happen but what I am most known for is my beaded bracelets and photo bangles and necklaces. My business literally has a mind of it’s own the possibilities are endless. I believe what sets me apart from other companies that may do similar work is my drive and attention to detail. My company isn’t about just making a quick dollar but more so about creating a lifelong relationship with my current and potential customers.
Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
I like watching Lynn Richardson on YouTube for business tips and motivation. I like her straightforward attitude and approach to business and financial freedom. You can truly tell when listening to her she wants everyone to win. Also, my faith in Christ keeps me grounded and humble.
