Today we’d like to introduce you to Lo’ Getem. Them and their team share their story with us below:
With raw rhythm, production, and wide-ranging vocals, Lo’ Getem created a lane of his own as a dynamic, dangerous, and different kind of producer/engineer/pop star. The Atlanta-born all-around producer first dug into the industry, working with artists from Eardrummer Records, KapG, Lil Donald and many more. In the journey of the up incoming producer landed a single with Tone The Goat (AkA “Young Tone”) featuring Lil Boosie called Lastnight.
Working with some of the highly favored songwriters in the game has greatly inspired him to begin creating his own undeniable records like his latest single, “Hold On” with over 100 thousand streams on Spotify. Most importantly, it busted open the path for him to be expected to drop a full project in 2021 – 2022. Lo rides his own lane at a high speed, blowing the competition away.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Going through suicidal depression, losing my apartment and jeep, living in the studio just for them to shut it down, being homeless, getting locked up with three felonies! All this happened back to back to back within the last two years. Two great friends helped me out a lot through this was (Industry Engineer Mark Rude and Ear Drummer Producer PNazty). Mark has shown me a lot on how to become a top-notch engineer, and PNazty let me live with him when I was homeless and helped me elevate my production skills to be one of the best! They have my loyalty for life!
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m a producer 1st. I also engineer for a ton of artist. I write songs and I have become an artist as well. Music has become my Main Income, so that’s a dream come true to be living off my music! I’m looking to drop my project in October (Octobers Finest). I’m very proud of this! I’m so blessed to overcome everything I’ve been through the past two years and to get me to the point where I have new placements otw with a few big artist!
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
I’m from Atlanta, GA, born and raised! Growing up was cool. Family issues but who doesn’t have that. I was a football start winning 3 outta 4 championship appearances. I remember winning my 1st championship in 7th grade scored a total of 32 touchdowns and had a little over two thousand yards! Some of the best times of my life!
