She offers group instructional makeup classes and one on one makeup lessons. Melisa is skilled in creating your vision. She has over ten years of experience delivering personalized and professional makeup transformations. Her awakening moment finally resonated when her work was published in the same magazines she read as a teenager. Her passion became her purpose and she is living her dreams.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Honestly my journey as a makeup artist has been educational and rewarding. Makeup is one thing in my life that always gave me peace and reassurance. I never once felt like giving up. Every error I made was a learning experience for me and it also made me more determined to master my craft. I am also fortunate for social media for allowing me the platform to display my talents. Also, the power of word of mouth has grew my business tremendously. I haven’t experienced any obstacles or challenges since I started my business MeMaCreations. I definitely feel like it was my calling because it was something that happened so naturally and organically. The business grew quickly with little effort. I continued to do the work and the work sold itself.

What I love most about being a makeup artist is that I am able to express my vision and creativity on all my beautiful clients. They trust my judgment and artistry. I am able to create without restrictions. I love the art of transformation and enhancing my clients natural beauty. As a makeup artist we see beauty through a different lens. When a client leaves my chair they will see themselves through my lens. What I love most about being a Makeup artist is the feeling of gratification knowing that I added a little more sparkle to that clients life.

The support I receive from my clients is outstanding. I continue to go above and beyond for my clients and they continue to refer me to everyone they know. They can continue to support me by sharing my work through word of mouth and social media. I also have received PR packages from big brands like Laura Mercier, Benefit Brows, L’Oréal, Black Radiance, Boxy Charm etc. I am looking forward to more collaborations with more beauty brands in the near future.
