Check Out Nika Latori’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nika Latori.

Hi Nika, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started modeling in 2017 a semester after starting college. Prior to actually starting, people always told me I should be a model and I did watch all of the America’s Next Top Model episodes but I still never thought about becoming a model. My goals were singing and dancing. I’ve always been an entertainer/in the spotlight in some type of way. I did like taking pictures though and was very consistent with posting them on social media. Photographers in the area found me and would message me but I either didn’t respond or told them I wasn’t a model. Eventually, I agreed to a photoshoot and everything came super natural. My poses and angles, facial expressions and smizing etc. The only thing is, the photographer was very inappropriate which made me say “this wasn’t for me” and I didn’t return until a year later with another photographer. Everything was fine and I became consistent. From there, I got into runway and became the President of Persuasion Models located in Petersburg, VA. I was in multiple seasons of RVAFW, DCFW and NYFW plus other surrounding shows. It came to a point where my name was known in that area which is great but I wanted more. I moved to Atlanta September 2025 and since then I’ve done a beauty commercial, background for Natalie Nunn music video “doin what I want” and 3 movies that will be coming to Netflix soon. I am currently working expanding my Modeling and Acting career. The goal is to become full time but until then I will be working hard to make a name for myself in Atlanta, expand to more cities/countries and growing my social media.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The beginning of my journey was actually easy because I was being reached out to about modeling before actually stepping foot into the industry. I fell in love with it which made it easier to stay consistent. Consistency looks like practicing in the mirror, practicing my walk, researching agency standards, going to auditions, learning self care techniques (skincare, hair, makeup etc) studying the people I look up to and much more. My current struggle is showing up in a new city where I’m not familiar with, but social media is a big power tool. It has helped a lot.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a Model and Aspiring Actress. I specialize in Commercial, Editorial and Runway. I am known for being fierce in the runway and being great at posing. I’m most proud of being an inspiration to others who are inspiring to model. I have coached quite a few people who would message me on how they can get started and also did in person training. What sets me apart from others is my personality. A lot of people say I have a very nice, peaceful/calm spirit. Im very friendly and smile a lot but besides that, I work very hard. Im serious about my work. My personality and dedication makes people want to continue working with me.

What’s next?
My future goals are to model and act full time. I’m currently working on getting into big roles and traveling more.
