Today we’d like to introduce you to Paisley Buckley.

Hi Paisley, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’m Paisley B. former cofounder of Selections by JP boutique. I’ve been a flight attendant for the past five years. I recently resigned this past month to solely focus on going back to school to be a diagnostic sonographer and getting my business up & running. My business now is The Girls Box. Such a broad name for a broad business. I originally started off selling hair growth oil, but I always knew I wanted to expand. I wanted to be the first person a woman thinks of when she needs necessities or to keep her appearance up, so I took a Microshading Ombrè Class, which has now primarily taking over a great deal of my business.

I service doing Microshading Ombrè brows that last 2-3 years and it’s something I actually enjoy. The look on women face after getting their eyebrow procedure will forever make me happy, it’s beyond the brows literally, the shock, the look in the mirror itself, does it for me because that’s what they’ll wake up to from here on out. I’m now looking to add teeth whitening to my services. I’ve been had this vivid dream of all of what I’m doing but I never quite had the time between flying, being a full-time mommy, etc. but now it’s reality and it’s happen, just the way I imagined and by the grace of God even faster than I prayed for.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Yes! The road has been smoother than expected. I never expected to take off so fast well, honestly, even now, I’m not at my ultimate goal, but I’m definitely further than I imagined to be right now at this very moment. It’s surreal the amount of love and I’m support I’m receiving. I’m forever grateful.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I specialize in Microshading Ombrè Brows. I recently just took a teeth whitening class, so surely I’ll be adding that to my service soon. I’m most proud of my consistency, I’m putting my all into my business. I’m staying consistent and I’m promoting and cheering myself on a slow day just as much as a fast day. I’ve told myself their maybe days that’s slow but I remember the end goal and I remember tomorrow could be the day I blow up, so don’t give up today!

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
I’m a transparent person. The most I could say is most people thought my life was glamorous. I was a flight attendant for five years. I hadn’t sat in a state for more than six days straight. I became miserable that last year, I dreaded it, every bit of it. I didn’t have enough faith to step out & leave when I initially wanted to. I prayed about it, I talked to God about it and I eventually jumped, it no longer served me joy. It was no longer fun. I did it with no real direction as far as income. I knew school was starting soon, but I didn’t know what I would do as far as consistent income. I just bet it all on myself and told myself I would pursue my business full time and I did just that. Sometimes that’s all you need, faith as big as a mustard seed and to believe in yourself, I did.
