Hi Stephanie, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
You’re making me think.
Daily Venus Diva started in 2009, but I began writing and introducing people to “fabulous finds” way before that. Around early 2009, my business partner and I came together to create a daily lifestyle and fashion website for plus size women.
Our goal has always been to provide our readers with celebrity and entertainment news, fashion finds and beauty trends for women with curves.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I wouldn’t call them struggles, but we’ve definitely experienced lessons along the way. I love a good testimony though. That means we’ve passed the test.
Doing this interview was a lesson. Despite all of your accomplishments, that imposter syndrome is something else. Reinventing yourself and your brand comes with several lessons as well.
For me, the biggest lesson of all has been finding the strength to continue after losing loved ones. On one hand you want to sulk, but then you realize that you have to keep going, and giving up isn’t an option… so here I am today.

As the Founding Editor of DailyVenusDiva.com I get to research plus size news, celebs and fashion trends. Then I get to package it nicely on our website to introduce to our readers.
We’ve been doing this a long time so there’s so much to be proud of. DailyVenusDiva.com has won awards, interviewed celebrities, and collaborated with well-respected brands.
The thing that I’m most proud of is our longevity and the respect that our name gets.

My family. My family makes me happy. I’m literally in love with my family.
