Today we’d like to introduce you to Verma-Elizabeth Gentry.
Hi Verma-Elizabeth, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey has been one of rediscovery, resilience, and stepping into my purpose. I started in the corporate world, where I gained experience in customer service, operations, underwriting support, and team communication. Those roles taught me how to problem-solve, lead with empathy, and support people through complex situations.
As I grew personally and professionally, I realized I wanted my work to reflect more of who I am — creative, community-driven, and passionate about helping others feel understood. That led me to explore entrepreneurship, psychology, neurodiversity, beauty, and women’s empowerment.
Today, I’m building from a place of purpose. I’m focused on creating brands, spaces, and resources that encourage women to feel confident, supported, and seen. My story is still unfolding, but I’m proud of the woman I’m becoming and the impact I’m working toward.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely has not been a completely smooth road. A lot of my journey has been learning how to keep going through uncertainty, self-doubt, career transitions, and seasons where I didn’t always feel supported or understood.
One of my biggest struggles has been figuring out where I truly fit — professionally, creatively, and personally. I’ve had to learn how to advocate for myself, rebuild my confidence, and trust that the challenges I was facing were not stopping me, but shaping me. There were moments where I questioned my direction, but those moments also pushed me to get clearer about my purpose.
I’ve learned that growth is not always pretty or easy. Sometimes it looks like starting over, asking for help, changing direction, or choosing yourself even when it feels uncomfortable. But every obstacle has helped me become more intentional, more resilient, and more committed to building something meaningful. I wouldn’t say the road has been smooth, but I would say it has made me stronger.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My work is centered around creativity, confidence, community, and self-expression. I’m building a personal brand that brings together my passions for modeling, hosting, influencing, beauty, lifestyle, and women’s empowerment. I love being able to show up in different spaces — whether that’s creating content, connecting with people, being in front of the camera, or using my voice to inspire and encourage others.
I specialize in creating relatable, feminine, and empowering content that reflects real growth, confidence, beauty, and lifestyle. Through modeling and hosting, I’m able to express my creativity in a visual and engaging way, while my influencer work allows me to connect with women who are also evolving, rebuilding, and stepping into who they are meant to be.
I’m most proud of the fact that I’m creating something that feels true to me. I’ve learned to embrace all sides of who I am — the professional side, the creative side, the soft side, and the ambitious side. What sets me apart is that I’m not trying to fit into one box. I bring authenticity, resilience, personality, and purpose into everything I do. My goal is to build a brand that not only represents beauty and confidence, but also makes other women feel seen, inspired, and empowered to keep going.
What were you like growing up?
Growing up, I was definitely a social butterfly. I loved being around people, making friends, and bringing good energy into the room. I was also the class clown — I always wanted to make people laugh, feel comfortable, and feel good about themselves.
At the same time, I was very sensitive. I felt things deeply, even when I didn’t always show it. I think that sensitivity made me more aware of other people’s emotions and helped me connect with others in a genuine way. Looking back, I can see that a lot of who I am today was already there — my creativity, my humor, my big heart, and my desire to make people feel seen and uplifted.
I’ve always had a personality that was expressive, caring, and full of life. Whether it was through laughter, conversation, creativity, or simply being myself, I naturally gravitated toward spaces where I could connect with people and leave them feeling better than before.
