Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Youman.
Hi Jennifer , we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey began over twenty years ago behind the chair as a Master Cosmetologist, working closely with women in deeply personal spaces. What I didn’t realize at the time was that I wasn’t just doing hair — I was witnessing patterns. I saw women carrying chronic stress, unresolved grief, relational strain, and autoimmune conditions that were often showing up physically through hair loss.
When my own mother and grandmother experienced alopecia, the work became personal. I began asking deeper questions: Why are so many women experiencing this? What is happening beneath the surface?
Through case studies and years of observation, I realized that addressing hair topically was often just a temporary solution. The real work required understanding the nervous system, stress physiology, emotional processing, and how the body holds experiences over time.
In 2018, I formalized that pursuit and became a Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach. Since then, I’ve integrated holistic health education, Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), bio-resonance technology, mindfulness practices, and somatic awareness into what has evolved into a comprehensive approach to supporting women.
Today, through Weltyme Coaching Services, I work at the intersection of nervous system regulation, emotional restoration, and holistic wellness. My focus is helping women reduce chronic over-carrying — mentally, emotionally, and physically — so their bodies can return to balance.
What began as cosmetology evolved into a systems-level practice. I now see my work as less about fixing symptoms and more about helping women rebuild internal safety, which often shifts outcomes far beyond what they initially came in for.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been a smooth road, but it has been a refining one.
One of the biggest challenges was transitioning from a traditional service-based role into a more integrative, holistic practice. When you begin expanding beyond what people expect of you, there can be resistance — externally and internally. I had to grow comfortable trusting what I was observing in women’s bodies and experiences, even when it wasn’t yet widely understood.
Another challenge has been patience. Holistic work does not produce overnight transformation. It requires consistency, education, and helping clients unlearn years of over-carrying. Building a practice rooted in depth rather than quick fixes takes time.
There were also personal growth seasons that demanded resilience. Supporting women through stress and health challenges required me to continually do my own inner work — emotionally, spiritually, and physically. I learned that I cannot guide women toward regulation and balance if I am not actively practicing it myself.
Over time, what once felt like obstacles became strengthening points. The struggles clarified my values, sharpened my approach, and deepened my conviction that this work matters.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
Weltyme Coaching Services was built on a simple but often overlooked truth: many women are not just stressed — they are chronically over-carrying.
Over the years, I noticed a pattern. Women were holding emotional labor, family pressure, professional demands, and unresolved grief in their bodies. Often, that strain showed up physically through symptoms such as hair loss, fatigue, hormonal imbalance, or autoimmune flare-ups. I specialize in helping women identify and reduce that internal load so their bodies can return to regulation.
What sets my work apart is that it integrates multiple disciplines into one cohesive approach. With over two decades as a Master Cosmetologist and a specialization in hair loss, combined with board certification in holistic health coaching, I understand both the visible and invisible aspects of stress-related conditions.
I utilize Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), mindfulness-based stress reduction, bio-resonance technology, and somatic awareness practices — but the real differentiator is pattern recognition. I help women understand how their nervous system has adapted to long-term over-responsibility and how to safely recalibrate.
I am most proud of the trust my brand has cultivated. Many of my clients come through referrals, which speaks to the integrity and safety of the environment I create. Women often tell me that they feel seen, steady, and supported in ways they haven’t experienced before.
My goal is not simply symptom relief. It is to help women rebuild internal safety, reduce over-carrying, and develop sustainable wellness practices that support them mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Weltyme is more than a service — it is a structured approach to restoration.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Something that might surprise people is that my work didn’t begin as a formal strategy — it began with deep observation.
For years, I quietly paid attention. I noticed patterns in women’s conversations, body language, stress responses, and health outcomes long before I had language for what I was seeing. I’ve always been naturally perceptive and intuitive, but I didn’t immediately frame that as a professional strength. Over time, I realized that my ability to observe patterns — emotionally and physically — is one of the core pillars of my work.
Another surprising element is how much intentional personal refinement happens behind the scenes. The steadiness my clients experience isn’t accidental. It comes from ongoing emotional regulation practices, reflection, spiritual grounding, and continuous education. I believe you cannot guide others toward balance without actively cultivating it yourself.
And while my work often involves depth, regulation, and serious transformation, I genuinely value laughter and lightness. Joy is not separate from healing — it’s part of it. I believe women deserve both deep restoration and moments of genuine ease.
What looks calm and structured on the outside has been shaped by years of quiet refinement — and a commitment to showing up fully human.
