Today we’d like to introduce you to Kevin Torsel.
Hi Kevin, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My journey has been anything but traditional. I got my start working in entertainment and logistics, where I learned how to manage fast paced environments, coordinate large scale operations, and solve problems under pressure. Being behind the scenes of events taught me the importance of planning, communication, and making sure every detail comes together seamlessly.
Over time, I developed a passion for entrepreneurship and began exploring different business ventures while continuing to build my skills. More recently, I’ve also become heavily involved in futures trading and cybersecurity, which have challenged me to think strategically and stay disciplined every day.
Looking back, every experience has built on the last. Whether it’s coordinating logistics, working in entertainment, building a business, or trading the markets, I’ve always enjoyed finding solutions, creating opportunities, and continuing to learn. I’m proud of the path I’ve taken so far, and I’m excited to see where it leads next.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, it definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Like most entrepreneurs, I’ve had my share of setbacks, financial challenges, and moments where things didn’t go as planned. Working in entertainment and logistics taught me that every event or project comes with unexpected obstacles, and being able to adapt quickly is what separates success from failure.
There were times when I had to juggle multiple responsibilities, work long hours, and figure things out as I went. Starting new ventures also meant taking risks, learning from mistakes, and staying patient when results didn’t come overnight.
Looking back, those challenges ended up being some of my biggest teachers. They helped me become more resilient, more disciplined, and more confident in my ability to solve problems. Today, I don’t see obstacles as roadblocks anymore. I see them as opportunities to learn, improve, and come back stronger.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Lxst Child Entertainment is my entertainment and event production brand. We focus on putting together events that actually feel good to attend, whether that’s parties, private events, DJ sets, or community-based experiences. I handle everything from planning and logistics to working with DJs, artists, and vendors to make sure the whole night runs right.
What makes us different is that I’m really hands on with everything. I come from an entertainment and logistics background, so I understand both the creative side and the behind the scenes work that most people don’t see. I’m not just trying to “host events,” I’m trying to make sure the experience is smooth, intentional, and memorable from start to finish.
A lot of what I’m proud of is the relationships and trust built along the way. Most of the work comes from word of mouth, people coming back, or bringing us into new spaces because they liked how we operate. That means a lot to me because it shows the work is speaking for itself.
At the core, Lxst Child Entertainment is about creating experiences people actually remember, not just something they show up to and forget the next day.
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Growing up, I was always pretty observant and curious about how things worked, especially when it came to people and environments. I wasn’t always the loudest in the room, but I was always paying attention and figuring out how to move in different spaces.
Personality wise, I’d say I’ve always been pretty adaptable. I could be social when I needed to be, but I also spent a lot of time thinking, planning, or just observing things around me. That mix kind of shaped how I approach life now, especially in business and events, where you have to understand both people and situations quickly.
I was also naturally drawn to anything creative or fast paced. Music, entertainment, and anything involving coordination or bringing people together always caught my attention. I liked being around energy, especially environments where things were happening and you had to stay on your toes.
Over time, those early interests turned into real experience. What started as just being curious or involved in different spaces eventually turned into me working in entertainment and logistics, and now building my own path from that.
