Community Highlights: Meet Lisa Mullins of Stretchlab Sandy Springs

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lisa Mullins.

Hi Lisa, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Three years ago we opened Stretchlab Sandy Springs. My daughter and I were looking for a wellness studio option that we both could readily endorse. Today, we are still here. Providing assisted stretches to everyone who would benefit: amateur athletes, seniors, folks in rehab.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Fairly smooth. We are a franchise so much of the work is already done for you. The struggles are learning your community so your appeals are appropriate and building a solid, dependable staff.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
We provide assisted, individualized assisted stretching. Everyone can benefit from this wellness solution. Our staff receives 60 hours of training to ensure muscular understanding. We add flexibility and range of motion to your life.

Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
It takes a lot of upfront work to start a business. Be prepared to be hands on and fully engaged for at least the first year.
