Hi Rebecca , please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I founded RB Consulting Agency in 2022 after spending more than 20 years leading sales, marketing, and business development for global technology companies. What began as a passion for helping others become more confident in sales quickly evolved into a full-service strategic marketing consultancy. I recognized that many great organizations weren’t struggling because they lacked great products or services. They were struggling because they lacked a clear strategy to connect with the right people and communicate their value. I believe marketing should do more than generate leads; it should build trust, strengthen relationships, and make selling feel more natural. Today, RB Consulting Agency partners with businesses and nonprofits to turn marketing into a system that makes selling easier by combining data-driven strategy with authentic human connection. Guided by our belief that business should create a positive impact, I built the agency around one simple philosophy: People First. Strategy Always. Success Together.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but I wouldn’t change it. When I first started RB Consulting Agency, I thought my focus would be sales training. I love helping people build confidence in sales, so it felt like the natural place to start. But as I worked with more clients, I realized being a trainer wasn’t what I was truly cut out for. What energized me wasn’t delivering a workshop and walking away; it was helping organizations develop the strategy, build the plan, execute it, and then partner with them over the long term to see it through. That’s when I made the decision to pivot from sales training to a full-service strategic marketing agency.
Along the way I also learned something about myself; entrepreneurship can sometimes feel like a solo journey and I’m not at my best working alone. One of the greatest joys of building RB Consulting Agency is working alongside my incredible team and partners. They are all such talented humans who also share a passion for serving and helping others grow. I’m deeply grateful for each of them. We challenge one another, celebrate together, and bring different strengths to the table, which allows us to deliver better results than I ever could on my own.
Looking back, those pivots have been some of the best decisions I’ve made. Today, I get to serve as a strategic partner for my clients, helping them solve complex business challenges, align their marketing with their goals, and grow in a way that’s sustainable. The journey has taught me that entrepreneurship isn’t about having all the answers from day one. It’s about staying open to learning, being willing to evolve, and building something that’s aligned with your strengths and purpose.

What’s next?
I’m excited about what’s ahead for RB Consulting Agency. As we continue to grow, one of my biggest priorities is expanding our team so we can support more clients while continuing to provide the personalized, strategic partnership we’re known for.
I’m also incredibly excited about the role technology—especially AI—will continue to play in marketing. I don’t believe AI replaces people; I believe it empowers them. Our goal is to thoughtfully leverage AI, with the right human oversight and guardrails, to automate repetitive tasks, improve efficiency, and create more time for what matters most: building relationships, thinking strategically and creatively, and serving our clients.
Beyond growing the agency, I’m looking forward to becoming even more involved in the national small business community. I hope to continue sharing the methodologies, frameworks, and processes we’ve developed at RB Consulting Agency to help more organizations strengthen their marketing, align their sales efforts, and scale with intention.
I want us to continue building an agency that’s known for creating real partnerships, solving meaningful business challenges, and helping organizations grow with clarity, confidence, and intention.
