Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Peace & Love, I was born in Northwest Philadelphia and raised in the Kensington section of Philadelphia. I worked as a healthcare professional for the past 11 years. My passion was to always become a nurse, but I have a free spirit, and the thought of me working 8-16 hours days for someone else business did not sit right with me. In December of 2020, as I pursued my nursing degree, I opened a business for myself, Ruth’s Printing Company, which allowed me to have the freedom and flexibility to go to school full time and earn a living without working a 9 to 5.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
As a new Entrepreneur the road has not been smooth so much to learn & my biggest challenges I have is having a balance in my schedule as a mother, student and now a business owner.
We’ve been impressed with Ruth’s Printing Company, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My first business Ruth’s Printing Company I help other businesses with promotional Printing & Branding content such as Business cards, logos/graphics, flyers, banners, signages, yard signs, and car decals, menus, brochures and T-Shirt and garment printing and press, & much more. I also have an activewear brand for women called “Busy Babe Athleisure ”. This athleisure wear line was created to help hustling beauties feel & look good while taking care of their physical, mental and emotional (Spiritual) well-being. Alongside of the activewear line, I am a beach body wellness coach and YTT. I share my journey to help inspire women to be the best version of themselves.
We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
My favorite memory was when I become a teen mother, and I knew I had to make a better living and healthier environment for my child and myself. My children is my biggest motivation in the physical form.
