Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashley Skye.

Hi Ashley , please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Coming from a household of parents who were police officers, I was raised to be respectable and kind to others. Although sometimes things weren’t the best I had really great parents. I’ve always had a love for music, art, and self care. I was in school for computer science before life happened and I started working in a strip club at 19. Times got rough with my financial situation and I did any and everything to change my circumstances. From that time I’ve built many connections and learned a lot of street smarts. Being in a fast paced urban environment with music, entertainment, & content creating, has shaped me to be strong minded, confident, ambitious, and optimistic! There is so much more to my story that I can’t wait to share with you guys.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No. Some struggles are my mental health and building certain relationships.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Besides being a licensed skincare specialist, I sing, rap, and song write. I am known for being a big personality and musical artist. I am most proud of taking the step to make my dreams come true. I’m different from other because I speak my mind and my truth with no filter.

Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
Sometimes you have to take a risk because if not you won’t be able to say you tried.
