Conversations with Christina Rowe

Today we’d like to introduce you to Christina Rowe

Hi Christina, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Cozy treats co became an idea about 14 years ago in south Florida in my grandmothers kitchen! Always watching her bake and cook, learning techniques and new recipes I realized that is was a passion I was going to inherit from her. As years went by I became more invested in baking and realizing that I may actually be good at this! From reaching clients like Chase bank, The BB&T center, Law firms, business clients, and so many individuals around town I realized that I have a gift and I wanted to share it with everybody! After moving to a new state (Atlanta, GA) and building clientele in a new environment I felt as though Cozy Treats Co can be full throttle and become something so much more! This past year has been just the beginning of what I can really produce and I’m just so excited to see what comes next!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
At first, it was a bit bumpy! Dipping my foot in the entrepreneur world and seeing if I was ready to tackle the business side of things was a bit tough but once I started learning and setting up everything and taking the necessary courses, training, skills labs, and just plain research I felt as though this was something I will forever be passionate about and can prosper in! Learning that I don’t have to only have one product but different things that all coincide with each other, can make my brand speak for itself! The ultimate goal is to reach a larger audience who can find a little bit of everything when they visit Cozy Treats Co.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Aside from baking my heart out, I work for an international Gas Company. I am the East Coast Regional Web Contact
for customers, so I have been in this position for about 4 years now. With this part of my like it’s great as well because my professional work environment supports my business as well and it just makes me feel like I can have it both! I don’t have to give up one passion to make ends meet elsewhere!

I’m so proud that I pursued my passion and discovered new things along the way that tied into my brand such as baked good, custom mugs/cups, apparel, and just so much more. Giving everyone a piece of cozy warmth throughout the year just warms my heart and makes it all worth it!

How do you think about luck?
I think good and bad luck have played its roles in my life for sure! The biggest thing was trying to tackle my business in my home state (South Florida) and hoping I would built there and stay there but life had other plans for me. I wouldn’t exactly say it was good luck but maybe my guardian angel (grandmother) walking with me every step of the way from moving to a new environment, surrounding myself with new faces and opportunities that made me shine and thrive along the way!
