Today we’d like to introduce you to Girl Moses.

Hi Girl, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Girl Moses began as something I ( Kyra Kennedy) believe God placed in my spirit with purpose. What I first thought would be a name for my work in graphic design and beauty revealed something much deeper, a divine assignment.

I am a holistic Doula and Christian faith leader with a prophetic calling, serving women through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and pivotal life transitions. My work is centered on creating grounded, sacred spaces where women are supported physically, emotionally, and spiritually as they move through seasons of transformation.

Over time, I began to see myself in some ways reflected in the story of Moses; especially in the call to lead, nurture, and guide others through defining moments. What began as a name became identity, and ultimately purpose.

Through seasons of emotional refinement and rebuilding, God strengthened my discernment, deepened my maturity, and expanded my capacity to serve with wisdom, compassion, and integrity. Those experiences do not define me, but they helped prepare me for this work.

Through Girl Moses Holistic and Spiritual Doula Services, I now walk with women as they bring forth life, healing, purpose, and restoration.

Girl Moses is more than a name. It is a mantle of service, guidance, and advocacy for women in sacred transition.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t been a completely smooth road.

One of the biggest struggles has been clarity. I had to learn how to fully articulate what Girl Moses is while it was still forming in real time. When something is spiritually rooted and purpose driven, it does not always come with a clear blueprint at the beginning, so I had to grow into the language of my own assignment.

Another challenge has been emotional and personal refinement. Walking through seasons that required rebuilding internally while still being called to serve outwardly taught me how to carry responsibility without being defined by pressure, misunderstanding, or distraction. It stretched my discernment and forced me to mature quickly in how I protect my peace, my purpose, and my voice.

There were also moments where I had to stand firm in what God showed me, even when it was not fully understood by others. That required confidence, patience, and a deeper dependence on God rather than external validation.

Each of those challenges shaped me. They did not stop the assignment, they strengthened it.

I offer holistic doula services supporting women through pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum care. My focus is on providing consistent presence, emotional grounding, and practical support throughout the entire experience.

My birth packages include prenatal guidance, birth planning support, continuous labor and delivery support, comfort techniques, emotional reassurance, and advocacy as needed during the process. I am present to help women feel supported, informed, and steady through each stage of labor and delivery.

Postpartum care focuses on rest, recovery, emotional adjustment, and the transition into motherhood. I support mothers as they regain balance, process their birth experience, and adjust to the demands of a new season.

I also offer optional support additions including postpartum meal prep designed to support healing and nourishment, herbal tea options for relaxation and recovery, and herbal bath soaks to assist with physical and emotional restoration after birth. I also offer beauty services. As a licensed Cosmetologist I offer additional hair and makeup services for expecting mothers. My full glam beauty packages are available for photoshoots, baby shower, labor and delivery and postpartum photos.

I also provide correctional doula support centered on advocacy, education, and helping women navigate medical settings with clarity and confidence so they feel informed and supported in their decisions.

My work is centered on presence, advocacy, and holistic care throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I also serve as a preacher, faith leader, and spiritual doula, which reflects the deeper layer of spiritual support, discernment, and guidance I bring to the women I serve.

I would add that this work is deeply personal and rooted in both experience and calling. I care about women feeling supported, heard, and steady through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, and I show up with consistency, care, and advocacy in those moments.
At the core, I am committed to making sure no woman feels alone or overlooked in any part of her transition.

• The Midwife’s Witness Package – $2,000 Continuous labor and delivery support with hands-on comfort, advocacy, and emotional presence throughout birth.
• The Exodus Package – $3,500 Full journey support from pregnancy through postpartum, including prenatal visits, continuous birth support, and postpartum care.
• The Manna Package – $1,000 Postpartum support focused on rest, recovery, newborn transition, and emotional grounding.
• The Red Sea Package – $3,000+ (customized based on need) Intensive support for high-complexity, high-emotion, or medically involved births requiring extended advocacy and continuous presence.
