Hi Alicia, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I have been doing hair since I was 11 years old in my mother’s kitchen.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth road. I read a post one time that some of us are out here on a wing and a prayer. That is my story. I haven’t had anything handed to me. I work hard. The hours are long. It’s rewarding because I love what I do! I am grateful for my journey in this life.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am an award winning master cosmetologist. I specialize in hair color, hair extensions and haircuts. I am most proud of my freelance career.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
I am timely, dependable and thorough. I pay attention to detail.
