Today we’d like to introduce you to Erica Nobles.
Hi Erica, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started out as having to reroute my early adult years when I became a single mother in my Freshman year of college. After things became too much financially and I began to question if that was the best path for me, I ended up leaving school. I worked a few jobs and “industry hopped” until I found my niche on things related to Property Management. And the hopping paid off, because all of it is used and is relevant to my field. Go figure.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Absolutely not! I left school due to a lack of true purpose which led to low grades. I ended up working jobs that were below or barely above poverty level. I was unknowingly living in survival mode with no objective other than trying to make sure bills were paid and that there was food to eat. There were some highly stressful and chaotic years and situations.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am in the Property Management field. Right now I deal mostly with maintenance related issues and repairs. However, I have experienced all aspects of the rental process from the application to when a home is vacated. I am also building my mobile notary business.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
I am also a writer. I have two books; “Radical Woman: Resilience After Difficult Issues, Changes and Losses” and “unnecessary Pain”. An anthology and a book of poems, respectively. I like to remind people how special and loved they are by God. That they are worthy of having the good and wonderful things that life has to offer and no one’s permission is needed.
Pricing:
- unnecessary Pain – $10-$25
- Radical Woman: Resilience After Difficult Issues, Changes and Losses – $3 – $8
- Mobile Notary – Prices vary
