Daily Inspiration: Meet Tae Millhouse

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tae Millhouse.

Hi Tae, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I honestly started creating my ideas in my head as a child. Rather that I was blessed with these thoughts and ideas as a child.
From a very young age I knew that I wanted to be of service to people. I believe it started with watching my Mom, my Uncle and basically my entire family.
My mom was a cosmologists and later became an ordained minister. So I grew up watching her be of service to her friends, family and community members in both of those ways. My admiration for my mom was the start of many of my ambitious desires.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Absolutely not! Infact I am currently, as of right now in real time dealing with the passing of my younger brother Terrill James Millhouse. My Brother Terrill Millhouse was recently murdered in front of his apartment complex, on the night before Thanksgiving, in Oakland Ca. So the struggle is in effect as of today. I’m struggling to not respond in a way that will further hurt other families and the entire community. I’m not watching a movie, I’m not scrolling on social media hearing about this situation. It is my real life.
However the Most High is giving me strength that I myself can’t comprehend right now. Which is why I am able to do this interview in spite of what my family is dealing with currently.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I created a music agency back in around 2012/13 called Music Millhouse. This Agency has been ran by myself & my 2 brothers Terrill & Malik Millhouse. Malik was killed in 2020 in LA after a live performance he did in Las Vegas the night before. My Brother Terrill was our Music Analyst/ Head of Security before he passed away late 2025. I created this agency specifically for myself and my siblings to run. In effort to help us channel our emotions and creative abilities in positive ways. This idea later expanded into a non profit foundation called Beat The Pain.

“Beat The Pain” was founded and created to help other people channel their own emotions and creative abilities in positive ways. We’ve hosted and curated multiple musical events and forums focusing on Mental Health and preventative strategies to decrease violence in our neighborhoods. We campaign for our people. I have been extremely proud of those efforts.

I’m just like everyone. I have flaws and weaknesses that sometimes interfere with my stronger more preferred characteristics. I am very honest and transparent about that. I don’t believe in facades or pretending to be something or someone I am not. It is what it is. I also believe in unconditional love because of this. I try my best to love people through their flaws and to not give up on people because of their shortcomings. I like to focus on abilities within others that showcases the Heart of God within.

Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
I’ve gradually learned to not put my trust in people. I trust the God in people.
We all need God (YAH) and without his spirit we are crappy individuals. We all fall short, and so it is absolutely vital to be humble enough to understand that. God is Good. We are not. He makes us good. He shows favor to those that confess our sins and believe that his son died and resurrected for us to be purified souls. It is the greatest love story ever created. It gives us hope.
