Today we’d like to introduce you to Tandi Murphy-hall

Hi Tandi, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Oh wow! There is so much to my story, I don’t even know where to begin!
If I had to select one topic from the grab bag, it’d be:
As a little girl, I was always taught to “be quiet & know my place”…
That has been a very huge part of:
Who I am today, my personal daily struggles, social anxieties…
But also a driving force of my advocacy for others to stand up & be as loud, proud & unapologetically themselves as they possibly can be!!!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?Have things been easy? Absolutely NOT!!!!
Don’t get me wrong, I’ve had MANY moments in my life that only dreams are made of… But it has BY FAR been an easy road!!!!
I would have to say my biggest struggle is the laundry list of mental & physical health issues that I have. It would be waaaay easier to stay in bed & give in, but I’m too stubborn for all that! 🤣 I’d rather wear myself out, fighting, than let something control another day of my life!

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do? What you’re currently focused on? What are you most proud of?
I am one of the core/founding members of the band, Triangle Fire (from Athens, GA/Murfreesboro, TN)
I’ve been in several other bands/projects before, but I’m most proud of what we’re doing now, because we seem to be reaching the kids & actually helping people…
Which is something my husband, Nick, and I have always dreamed of doing!
We have both struggled greatly in our lives, so being able to use that for positive means everything to us!

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
HA!!!!! Luck?!? We actually joke & say we’re convinced the universe hates us…
But in all reality, I think all the bad luck has just made us stronger… Yeah, more jaded… But that’s ok- Because we try to flip it & send it back into the universe as a positive energy!
