Danskia Bogle on Life, Lessons & Legacy

We recently had the chance to connect with Danskia Bogle and have shared our conversation below.

Good morning Danskia , it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
The first 90 minutes of my day is very simple . I wake up brush my teeth, wash my face and check my phone . I return emails, text messages and phone calls. I try my best to reach out and respond to my clients and peers often. I check social media and what’s going on in the world. I also may post a good morning post on instagram for all my supporters and followers to see. I like to go live as well on TikTok. It helps me set the tone for the day and to motivate me to keep going, I guess staying hungry.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Danskia. I consider my self a creative who thinks outside of the box and I look at myself as someone who things above the norms as a way of making money . My brand is all about self love and having the confidence to inspire others to love the inner and outter selves. I think body positivity is something I promote everyday as well as spirituality. To really sum everything up GROWTH .I try to work and inspire every creative and industry I can. Reaching out to people all over the world through social media is something I enjoy . Mental health is very important to me , I check in with my mental health as well as others including my supporters ! My main focus is bringing all of my creative processes into a flowing creative outcome.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
I was a free spirited individual, that loved talking and mingling with any and everyone . Someone who believed in fairy dust and magic . I was someone full of life , endless possibilities and a hunger for seeing my dreams , visions and what was on my heart manifest into real life. I always tried to remain true to myself. Adversity , obstacles or anything life threw my way, I found a lesson in it all. It shaped me into being resilient, god fearing and loving myself 10x harder.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering taught me that, no matter how much you heal and talk about your traumas, that the scars will always be a reminder of the pain that you wentr through. It’s a reminder to see where I was then , during and after the healing process of said scars. It keeps me humble , emphatic and committed to god over all.

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What’s a cultural value you protect at all costs?
I protect my peace and morals at all costs . I live by a set of moral codes. It keeps me grounded and god fearing. Culturally having faith and keeping my mustard seed watered is my number one goal in life.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. If you laid down your name, role, and possessions—what would remain?
My energy , love and essence would remain. The love I poured into others around me would remain. The examples I set , and bars I set would remain. I think most importantly my drive and how I handled my personal struggles would remain. Most importantly the examples I set.
