Hi Deola , thank you so much for sitting down with us again. For folks who might have missed our initial interview, can you start by briefly introducing yourself?
I am a blogger of Girl Talk Suite and creator of the Girls Entrepreneur Expo, which is a large event that showcases black entrepreneurial young ladies under 21 years old.
Ten years ago I began servicing girls in the Chicagoland area through the Flowers in Bloom Project. I created the Flowers in Bloom Project to provide self esteem workshops to inspire girls in the Austin community. With the help of supporters and partnerships with local businesses in the city, over 100 girls in Chicago were positively impacted.
I developed a saying that I live by, “Live an OH SO SWEET lifestyle” which simply means to your gifts, do it with passion, and create a life you LOVE from it. This is the concept and mindset that inspired the Girls Entrepreneur Expo.
In 2016 I launched the very first Girls Entrepreneur Expo. The expo showcases Chicago’s most innovative entrepreneurial girls ages 7-17 years old. They have an opportunity to be vendors and present their products and services to the public. Its an annual event where hundreds of guests register and attend. Since then, the Girls Entrepreneur Expo has hosted in Detroit Michigan, Atlanta Georgia and soon will be hosted in more cities to come.
Through the expo’s platform, I’ve had the privilege of connecting with hundreds of amazing young entrepreneurs around the world.
A few years ago I created Girl Talk Suite blog. A digital space designed to highlight young black creatives. I feel like its important for them to see that their ideas and creations matter and to remind them that they’re worth celebrating.
I take pride in being able to create space for black girls to shine.
What is Girl Talk Suite?
Girl Talk Suite is the digital blog space I created to feature black girls who are creatives and entrepreneurs. It has offered the opportunity for more exposure on a wider level around the world.
How would young ladies benefit from being featured on your blog?
I’ve had the privilege of connecting with hundreds of young ladies around the world so this gives young creatives an opportunity to connect with other like minded creatives in a space designed just for them.
The Girl Talk Suite has landed in the hands of thousands of viewers so its an amazing opportunity to promote their business to the world.
Providing quality content is valuable to me so its important that I publish features that young creatives can have pride in.

What other projects are you working on?
I’m currently working on bringing more fresh visual content for the blog. I’m creating promo videos for some dope brands. I’m also working on a special Juneteenth project with a few young ladies. Stay tuned!
