Andrena, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I have always had a passion for educating and being a leader. As a young adult, I was not sure of what my future had in store for me but I knew I would conquer my dreams. With my passion for education, I have always loved writing and journaling. I worked in the education field for over 20 years. After impacting so many lives, I felt that it was time for a change. In 2016, I left the classroom and went to administration. I was still involved with education with this change. I continued to grow and became a director in 2019. I still felt a need for change. It was time for me to slow down and step out on faith. At this time I did what I knew how to do best. I got my journal and started dropping down ideas and goals. One of my goals was to be an entrepreneur and to help others. In 2020, I decided it was time. I did what so many thought was not possible. I started three businesses by myself. Now in 2021, I am making my dreams become my reality. I am the owner of Anerd for Life LLC, Anerd for Success LLC, and Jenell.
Anerd 4 Life LLC, is a company that provides Heart Saver First Aid, CPR, and BLS training. With Anerd 4 Life LLC, I have the opportunity to educate Individuals on life skills, how they can save their own life, and help others in an emergency situation. I provide quality but fun training. I like to leave all of my students with an experience that they will cherish for a lifetime while enduring professional and caring customer service.
Anerd 4 Success, is a company that provides business consulting. I enjoy hosting virtual and face-to-face lectures along with guidance to help others making their dreams become their reality. The focus behind Anerd 4 Success, is for others to become entrepreneurs like myself. One life skill that I desire for all of my students to leave with is, you must change your mindset. I am a firm believer in anything worth having is worth the work. If something comes to you easy, you would not appreciate it. “You have to dream it and live it” AG
Jenell, is a homemade cosmetic line and accessory company. As a female I have always had a love for creams, lotions, makeup, soaps, and lipgloss. As the owner of Jenell, I get to fulfill my passion and be the creator of my own brand.
I don’t want to limit myself so I ensured that all of my companies can be mobile. I have the ability to service individuals anywhere in the United States. It was definitely scary to step out on faith. After consulting with most importantly God, my husband, and my pastor, I knew it was time and I don’t regret a second. It is hard work, lots of dedication, but rewarding. My support team is small but fierce including my husband, mom, bonus parents, children, siblings, pastor, and friends. I am in the route of living my dream as I continue to be entertained with my passions. I am so fortunate that I am able to utilize my passions which include educating, helping others, and cosmetics in my daily life. In closure, I am creating my legacy. I don’t want to be just an individual, I want to be “that individual” that made an impact on so many!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
This has not been an easy road. I had to ensure I stayed focused on my goal even during the trials. I created a vision board to inspire my daily steps. I purchased a white board to make weekly goals. I constantly pray. My struggles included time management, being patient, wearing so many hats, and limited budgets.

I am strong beliefs in providing quality training and customer service. While ensuring I learn about my students, I plan my lessons and choose teaching styles that I feel will impact them the most. I want to reach my clients, students, customers as whole and as an individual.
I am known as an individual who has values, loves her family, a visionary, always displaying professionalism, individual who has passion about what she does, and a hard worker.
People can expect quality, professionalism, trust, and an experience that they will remember.
