Hi Brittney, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve wanted to get into real estate for quite some time now, but after being unexpectedly let go from an 8 year career that I actually loved, I jumped right into it! Took a two week accelerated course, passed it and then passed the state licensing exam and here I am! It has definitely been a huge learning curve and transition, and mainly mindset wise… going from running someone else’s company to running my own business. Understanding that I was not only just another realtor in GA, but that I am on an exciting journey of building and running a real estate business of my own! So with that understanding and perspective, I have been patient, yet diligent in the building process! I am loving every day of it and taking everything in stride and continuing to build!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been smooth for me, slow, but smooth nonetheless. As mentioned, understanding, learning and gaining all of the tools necessary from each interaction and experience and using them to continue to evolve and grow my business and brand helps things to be smooth and eventually pan out and get smoother along the way. The biggest struggle has just been building and having a family to provide for in the meantime. So, I did get a side gig with a steady income to help stabilize my family, but even that has been a great source to grow my business. I like to say, everything is what you make it, but perspective is everything and while having realistic expectations help, also understanding that no two individual’s experiences are the same, so I do what I can to look at it all as the glass is half full. I do my best to stay optimistic, no matter the circumstances and I trust God, above it all. Nothing happens by chance, it all works together for my good. Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” This I do believe and trust no matter what.
