Exploring Life & Business with Jessica Fields of Harbor 26 Studio

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Fields.

Hi Jessica, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey into marketing has always been a blend of creativity and structure. I actually started my degree in Graphic Communications and Engagement Marketing at 16, and from there, I started freelancing and gaining hands-on experience while still in school.

After graduating, I stepped into the corporate world where I worked on large-scale campaigns, including projects at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and collaborated with globally recognized brands. That experience gave me a deep understanding of how established companies think, operate, and scale. I knew I wanted to start my own business, I just didn’t know when the timing would feel right.

Then, while working at a startup and starting to really think about going for it (starting my own business), I noticed 2 things.

1. No one has everything figured out.
2. I saw a gap in the market. Brands were either getting templated, surface-level content or hiring multiple disconnected specialists. I wanted to create something different: a strategic, full-service marketing experience that felt like an in-house team, without the overhead.

I went all in on Harbor 26 Studio to build a team. We focus on building complete brand ecosystems, where every piece of marketing works together intentionally, from social media to email and content production.

At the core of it all, I’ve always been driven by the same thing: helping brands show up in a way that feels clear, elevated, and impossible to ignore.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
This industry doesn’t stay still. Algorithms change, engagement shifts, strategies evolve, and now AI is reshaping how we create and market content in real time. There’s never a point where you can fully “figure it out” and coast. You have to stay curious, adaptable, and willing to refine your approach constantly.

In the early stages, one of the biggest challenges was navigating that constant change while also building something sustainable behind the scenes with systems, processes, and a level of service that actually matched the vision I had for the brand. It’s one thing to be creative, it’s another to build a business that delivers consistent, high-level results.

And I think friction can be good when it means you’re growing.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Harbor 26 Studio?
Harbor 26 Studio is a strategy-first marketing agency that helps brands grow with intention.

We specialize in building cohesive brand ecosystems, with a strong focus on social media, content production, and overall brand presence. One of the things we’re most known for is our ability to create a full month of high-quality, strategic content in a single production day.

We show up onsite (or you ship us your products), and knock out all the content you need for a month. This works because before we step foot on set, we’ve been planning for weeks to make sure it goes smoothly and we don’t miss a thing.

Our clients aren’t just getting a social media manager or a content creator. They’re getting a strategist, a creative director, and a marketing team all working together behind the scenes. Every piece of content, every caption, every visual is intentional and tied back to a bigger picture.

Brand-wise, I’m most proud of the level of detail and care we bring to everything we do. With my background in project management, we have strong systems and processes which make the biggest difference for both the team and our client experience.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
Honestly, I was always doing something creative. At one point, I was “running a restaurant” with my best friend at 8 years old, charging our moms $5 for 0.99 cent mac-n-cheese they bought us. I guess I’ve always had an entrepreneurial mindset.
