Exploring Life & Business with Kisha Poole of Luxury Guilt

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kisha Poole.

Hi Kisha, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My story is built on experience, resilience, and faith. I spent decades in retail and wholesale working with major Fortune 500 brands, where I gained a strong foundation in merchandising, sales, and brand development. As a fashion designer and entrepreneur, I eventually took everything I learned in corporate America and turned it into my own opportunity.

While raising two children and overcoming life-changing challenges, including surviving two strokes, I made the decision to bet on myself and create something meaningful. That leap of faith led to the launch of my brand and boutique, Luxury Guilt, a platform where I combine fashion, family, and empowerment.

Today, Luxury Guilt represents more than style; it represents resilience, reinvention, and proof that you can turn your experience into purpose.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
In the early stages of my entrepreneurial journey, balancing my business while still having my corporate career made the transition feel more manageable. However, over the past few years, it has become more challenging navigating COVID, government shutdowns, and shifts in the economy that impacted small businesses. Entrepreneurship can look easy online, but the reality involves resilience, adaptability, and constant problem-solving. Despite the challenges, the rewards of building something meaningful and serving my community continue to keep me motivated.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I specialize in fashion retail, styling, and brand development, with a focus on creating curated looks for women and children. As a fashion designer and founder of Luxury Guilt, I’m known for blending trend-forward fashion with a personalized shopping experience that helps families feel confident and stylish. Beyond selling clothing, I provide styling support, registry services, and community-driven experiences that make Luxury Guilt not just a boutique, but a destination for fashion, connection, and empowerment.
