Today we’d like to introduce you to Tammie Jenkins.
Hi Tammie, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’ve been in business since the age of 6 selling candy and knickknacks to my family. Of course I participated in selling Worlds Finest Chocolates and Girl Scout cookies which was Entrepreneurship 101… resell someone else’s product and be rewarded. I love to be rewarded for my efforts.
I have worked in corporate America for many years since I was 13 so that’s over 30+ years. During that time I was always creating and finding FB ways to supplement my income after becoming a single parent and having only one income. I have driven for Lyft, DoorDash, Uber, worked seasonal retail jobs, sold jewelry, purses, planned parties and events, and finally in 2019 decided to branch off into selling my own products.
I have gotten to where I am today through knowledge, network, discipline, intentional work, dedication, having a vision of where I want to go and what I want my life to be. And most importantly for and the Ancestors.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Some would think that way to success is straight. Well I’m here to dispel that myth once and for all if no one else has. It’s a long and winding road with ups downs and round and rounds but you must as Taraji P. Hinson and my mentor Lyric says “keep peddling.”
I have been fired from jobs, discriminated against, disliked by people for reasons unbeknownst to me , dated and dumped, and been without support.
I have used each struggle as fuel to keep going even when times I felt like the load was too heavy to bear. Because of my strong sense of faith and always tapping in therapy I have been resilient and able to be a Make Your Dreams Come True champion!!!
We’ve been impressed with Make Your Dreams Come True – Thriving LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Tammie founded her community to serve dream chasers — people who are ready to turn their ideas, talents, and ambitions into reality. The mission is simple yet bold:
to help individuals make their dreams come true, regardless of where they start in life, how many resources they have, or how many times they’ve been told “no.”
This community welcomes members from 12 years old to 100 years young, because Tammie believes purpose does not expire and potential has no age limit.
Through mentorship, practical tools, encouragement, and accountability, she empowers people to:

Tammie’s leadership is fueled by lived experience, not theory. She understands struggle, reinvention, and resilience — and she teaches others how to rise, rebuild, and walk boldly into the life they were meant to live.
Her message is unwavering:
Your past does not define your future. Your starting point does not determine your destination.
In Tammie’s community, dreams become goals, goals become action, and action becomes transformation.
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
