Today we’d like to introduce you to Timera Bell.

Hi Timera, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Growing up as a child, my parents were not married so it allowed me to see two different lifestyles and see the lifestyle that I desired. My dad owned seven businesses, and I started to do payroll for him when I was 15 years old, and during that process, I learned so much from my dad when it comes to running and operating a successful business. While my dad was running and operating his businesses, my mother who raised me, was a sales representative in retail and she taught me how to sale and close sales. My mother raised me believing that if you master faith then your destiny, purpose, and passion is in the palm of your hands, and I took that and ran with it. My dad raised me believing that if you want something in life then you are the only one who can make it happen for you, but you have to put in the work.

I knew from the time I was a teenager that I was going to be an entrepreneur because my dad’s lifestyle was the lifestyle that I wanted. At 19 years old, I started my first business, Dezyre’ Interior & Exterior, and Dezyre’ is pronounced desire. In this business, I was an inventory analysis specialist, and my mother who was my partner was an interior designer. I operated that business part-time while attending The Fort Valley State University on a basketball scholarship from 2009 to 2012. After graduation, I moved back to my hometown, Albany, Georgia and opened up my office in the downtown area in 2013. We were open for a year, and then I realized that I was doing something that I told myself I would not do, and that was getting stuck. So after a year, I closed my business and moved to the Middle, Georgia area, and went into Corporate America. After being in Corporate America for 9 months, I quit my job, and in October 2015 I started what is now Bell’s Dezyre’ Productions. Bell’s Dezyre’ Productions mission is to bring visions to reality through graphic design, brand strategy, and business development. I worked from my house until 2022, and in 2022 I opened up our first, but not last storefront.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
When it comes to entrepreneurship, I feel like some people think it is a very easy path, because of how many of us as entrepreneurs make it look; but it’s not. As an entrepreneur, there are many ups and downs. One of my biggest challenges was staying consistent. When I started my first business in 2009, consistency was a huge battle for me, and I was really good at feeding inconsistency. I had the mindset that it was okay for me to only work before a bill was due, and when I went into my first office that practice affected me negatively. Inconsistency is a disease for an entrepreneur because it can cause your business to stay stuck, never grow, or even drown. After much practice, and some amazing accountability coaches, I have broken that bad habit, and now my business continues to elevate.

Bell’s Dezyre’ Productions also known as BDP was established in October of 2015. We are located at 3510 Hwy 41 Suite 2000 Byron, Georgia, 31008, but we serve all over the globe. Our mission here at BDP concentrates on serving in the spirit of excellence and bringing visions to reality through graphic design, brand strategy, and business development… We specialize in creativity, graphic design, business development, brand development, and client representation. We provide 2 to 3 business day turn around, next business day turn around, same business day turn around, and weekend rush turnaround for our graphic design work. Within our company, we provide several programs, and we have three main departments within our company and they consist of our graphic design department, brand strategy department, and business development department. When it comes to how we are apart from others, we operate in the spirit of excellence, and we focus on the needs of our clients. What’s next?
We have many things in store for the future when it comes to our company, Within the next five years, we plan to go into a 15,000 sq ft facility and hire over 100 employees. In the near future, we will be changing the name of our company to TLBell Enterprises, and we will be incorporating other departments within our company that will help our current clients and future clients.
