Today we’d like to introduce you to Vegan & Friends Atlanta
Hi Vegan & Friends, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Grey, known as the vegan rapper, wanted to do a vegan event that was more consistent than existing vegan events. Existing vegan events were sporadic and kinda random. So he built a team to produce a weekly vegan night market that would serve as a health and wellness hub for the city of Atlanta.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road hasn’t been smooth. We had some early venue problems with parking and permits. We then transitioned to a venue with better parking, but this venue was 90% outside and wouldn’t be sufficient for the winter months. We are currently in our winter venue, which is sufficient for now. It’s less space but fits our needs.
