Exploring Life & Business with Waldo (Ka Ra) Williams of BLAM!

Today we’d like to introduce you to Waldo (Ka Ra) Williams.

Hi Waldo (Ka Ra), thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
We are the Official Street Team of Atlanta! Starting out as a hobby in 2006 working with then Atlanta Club Promoter D.O.G. Entertainment, I then incorporated our own brand BLAM! in 2016. Then I also expanded our services and products, becoming a full fledged marketing firm. Branding Logos Ads & Marketing! We help your brand execute marketing strategies like a major brand. Our most recent clients are Whatta Burger South (street team) and The Southwest Atlanta Yoga Studio (digital marketing). Our most recent web-design is gemiuniversal.com also.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
My bank account, email, and website was hacked around 2010-2014 when https:// protocol began being used everywhere. I was also charged double the rent twice by my former office space which I won’t name at this time. Still recovering. Not to mention I’ve lost 2 bags with tablets in them on the local transit system. Losing access to some of my social media accounts as well.

We’ve been impressed with BLAM!, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
BLAM! is Branding Logos Advertising & Marketing. We are the Official Street Team of Atlanta!

Professional, Trained Brand Ambassadors
Our street team members aren’t just friendly faces—they’re trained marketing professionals who understand brand messaging, customer engagement, and conversion strategies. Each ambassador is vetted, trained on your specific campaign objectives, and equipped to represent your brand with professionalism and enthusiasm. We carefully select team members whose personalities and demographics align with your target audience.

Data-Driven Results & Reporting
Every street team campaign includes comprehensive reporting. We track impressions, engagements, samples distributed, leads generated, social media activity, and other relevant KPIs. You’ll receive detailed reports showing exactly how your investment translated into brand awareness and customer acquisition, complete with photos, metrics, and actionable insights.
