Today we’d like to introduce you to Davian Talley.
Hi Davian, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
As a child being raised in a family full of singers and musicians, I knew music and entertainment would be a passion of mine. I enrolled into the University of North Alabama in Florence, AL for a business degree. Even though I’ve always had a desire to operate in business, something in me was not settled with my studies. I made a decision to follow the family legacy by major in what I’ve always known, which was music. My decision was made to change my degree from business to entertainment business with a minor in business management.
After graduating college, my heart was led to start my own business, Devoted Enterprises, LLC. I knew my business would consists of all entertainment and business consulting. I currently manage recording artist and clients creating brands in television. During the pandemic, I started consulting new clients to building their brands by using creative strategies and techniques in the marketplace. As of April 2021, I released my very first published book, Don’t Believe The Lie. Throughout life, I’ve been known for motivating and encouraging others to go after their dreams. So I took my own advice to invest into my future by writing a book. “In order to get to where you desire to be, you have to make the necessary steps to get you closer than you were before.”
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Smooth? Absolutely not. I hesitated on starting my business and pursuing certain goals in life because I knew nothing comes easy. Once I took the step to move on certain ideas and visions, that’s when the storms came in. I’ve seen people come and go, which I use to be so dependent upon to help motivate me. Once I learned the hard truth about life and certain people, I stopped making excuses not to do things for myself. Money was another challenge. Not getting paid enough from a 9-5 job created a strain on the pace of how I operated in my business. The quickest lesson I learned was that money is also like seasons, it can come one day and leave the next day. The moral of the story was to not allow money to hinder my growth moving forward. The last challenge I realized was an issue was not having a lot of help. No, you cannot do everything by yourself but until the help comes, you just have to get it done. There were many nights I had to pull all-nighters and sacrifice time to get work done. In the end, nothing will work unless you learn to work it! To this day, I am grateful nothing was easily handed to me or made easy for my process. The struggle make everything worthwhile.

Devoted Enterprises, LLC is more than just your typical consulting business. We pride ourselves in making our clients and new upcoming clients feel special about their business brands. Devoted specializes in entertainment business offering management for recording artist and film/television. We offer special entertainment services such as artist development. Were more than just an entertainment company. Devoted offers creative consulting from styling for photoshoots, video treatments and content ideas. Everyone needs some sort of management in their business. If you have an upcoming project, we can oversee, plan, and help execute a project that needs to be ready for a release date. Strategy calls are key to getting the wheels turning after burnout and creative blocks. We offer strategy calls to help people get motivated and to have their business the right alignment for success!

Were set apart from other similar business because we go out the way to make sure our clients are pleased and well taking care of. Were always invested in the personal development of a brand alongside with the growth of their business. I am most proud of the impact we’ve made thus far from being operational since 2019. We have seen growth and change in our current clients and previous clients from the past. Seeing people start from one place and being taking to new heights is always a delight and keeps the business to go even harder! What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
Humility is the only way to real success. If one is not teachable or always willing to learn, then you have already maxed out on your potential. Integrity will always be what I stand by for a personal key quality or characteristic. Upholding an honest life and being trustworthy goes a long way. Last quality would be respect. No matter how harsh and nasty people may be, having a sense of respect and honor will set you up for the biggest win every time. Respect and honor will forever keep you in the places you’re called to be in.
