Today we’d like to introduce you to Ella Andre` aka Hairellacarte.
Hi Ella, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I am a Master Cosmetologist/Educator/Whole Wellness Advocate. I am not more one than the other because I have a passion for all the above. I have been a Master Cosmetologist for over 30 years and received my Cosmetology teaching license in 2002. That passion to teach others what I knew came so easily for me. Then after a 24-year marriage fell apart without my knowledge nor consent, I found myself having to heal a broken heart and soul and I began a Whole wellness journey like no other.
I found my therapy in early morning workouts, writing in my blog and finally finishing my personal memoirs that I felt should be shared as a book. I quickly got it copywritten in 2019 and have been diligently looking for ways and the right time to publish it ever since. I now proudly run my company called Hairellacarte, which is a Whole Wellness forum for those who want to hear life stories through my blog, get whole wellness advice and consultations through appointments on my website, buy my apparel and my 100% natural body butter and sugar scrub as well as make hair and skin care appointments. In a nutshell, I am woman, hear me roar.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been a rough road. I moved around a lot while I was a military wife. Therefore I never had the time nor the energy to build upon my business. Now that I am finally settled, last year in 2020, I started to build up my website and try to allow my business to flourish. It has been very slow due to Covid-19, but God willing, the online orders will start to pick.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
The journey of Hairellacarte started in 1987 when realizing that Cosmetology was not only a hobby but a passion. After years of being the one behind the chair, Hairellacarte grew to a different level and received a Cosmetology teaching license in 2002. That license made me want to build an empire. That hobby took on forms of greatness and connections with clients that built the confidence and the expertise that is now a wellness movement.
My passion to educate others began and has extended over the years to becoming an educator on different levels and in an entirely different field. I am proud that my brand has grown steadily over the years. My website, which I launched in 2019 and social media has helped tremendously in my company’s name getting out there into the world. More than anything else, I want people to know that I am an advocate for Whole wellness (mental, physical and spiritually). Everything from my blogs to my products to my apparel, to my fashion sense, represent the wellness of the whole person. All in all, I am here, still educating, servcing clients, grinding, building my business and uplifting others. There is nowhere else I would rather be. Join the Hairellacarte movement.
