I started my journey in photography about four years ago, inspired by Cam Kirk and a need to find peace during a challenging time. After a motorcycle accident that required a year and a half of rehab, I turned to photography as a creative outlet for healing. What began as a personal journey soon grew into a professional pursuit.

Over time, my work gained recognition, and I was fortunate to be featured in the Birmingham Museum of Arts and other prominent opportunities. Beyond photography, I’ve also embraced my calling in ministry, seeing both as interconnected ways to inspire and serve others. Today, I balance these passions with my family and a commitment to making an impact in my community, whether through capturing meaningful moments or sharing God’s word.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but the challenges have shaped who I am today. Recovering from a motorcycle accident that required over a year of rehab was one of the toughest battles I’ve faced, both physically and mentally. That period taught me patience, resilience, and the importance of finding peace amidst chaos.

Starting a photography business and stepping into ministry were also uphill climbs. I’ve had to navigate limited resources, find ways to market myself with little to no budget, and balance multiple commitments, including work, family, and my faith. Building my brand to look exclusive while staying true to my vision took a lot of trial and error.

There were moments of doubt, especially when I was trying to gain recognition in a competitive field. But every struggle pushed me to grow, whether through honing my craft, trusting God’s plan, or finding innovative ways to reach people. Those challenges, while difficult, have made the journey even more meaningful.

Whether it was overcoming the physical and emotional toll of a motorcycle accident or navigating the ups and downs of building a brand with limited resources, resilience has kept me grounded and focused.

Equally important is my passion. I approach both photography and ministry with a genuine love for what I do. That passion drives me to constantly improve, connect deeply with clients, and deliver work that exceeds expectations.
