Hi Nichel, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve always been into hair. I watched my aunt become an expert in the hair business so it was inevitable that I was drawn to it. Wigs came about when I decided years ago that I wanted dread locs. I’ve always been versatile with my hair and didn’t like keeping a style past two weeks. Locs were my next option because I was in a financial rough patch and couldn’t afford the upkeep of styles. I didn’t want to go through the “ugly stage” of growing locs so I decided to make myself a bang bob wig and I fell in love. Ever since then wigs were my go-to, but I was only making them for myself. I realized creating wigs was my passion and that’s when I started to take things serious and create a business. It’s been amazing ever since.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It hasn’t been a smooth road. I started my business twice. The first time back in 2017, I had no clue what I was doing. I knew I could make a wig and style and that’s all I thought I needed. I laughed and I expected the money to be rolling in only to get a few likes. I didn’t properly know about marketing, sales funnels, Target Audience, etc. I just did it with no plan. The second time is when I put together a plan and it’s been up ever since. As any other business, there’s things that happen that I have to take care of along the way, but I have the knowledge now to do things better.

My authenticity is what I’m most proud of with my brand. I’m true to myself, which allows my genuineness to show through my work and my personality. I specialize in custom made wigs and color. I create units that allow you to feel like your true authentic self, that person that we sometimes hide because she may be too much for the normal person. That’s how I want each person who wears my wigs to feel… as though she’s THAT GIRL! Besides custom wigs, we also offer coloring services as well as wig maintenance. My customers are busy so anything that I can do to help ease the load I will and that’s where our wig maintenance service will come in. I’ll handle the hard work all I need is for my customers to feel great and look even better.
