Inspiring Conversations with Amanda James of The JG Clothing LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Amanda James.

Hi Amanda, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’ve always had a gift for creating things, especially in the world of art, and I’ve always had a fascination with fashion. I knew that this was something I always wanted to do, so I decided to trust my gifts and talent and go for it.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Of course not, like with everything in life comes trials and failures, ups and downs, but if it is something that you love to do, don’t give up and be consistent with putting forth the effort. It’s the pushing yourself and confidence in knowing that this is something that you’re supposed to be doing. For me it’s the people that’s around you not seeing your vision the way you see it, the nay sayers. But I realized that this is my life and as long as I am fulfilling my God’s given purpose, no body else has to agree with it. So I started blocking all negative comments and opinions. That saying, that people will not believe because they’re not capable, is absolutely true. So make sure you do what’s necessary to be able to think for yourself and not allow others to do it for you.

We’ve been impressed with The JG Clothing LLC , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The JG Clothing LLC is a clothing brand that I started in 2017-2018. It’s a clothing brand that not only cares about fashion, but also our communities, children, elderly, disabled, and our families. So with that being said, we not only care about providing clothing for you to feel good physically, but we care mostly about how you feel mentally. We believe that your mind has to be healthy first before anything. So giving back, and paying it forward is a big part of what The JG Clothing LLC is.

What’s next?
My plans for the future is to continue to help as much as possible, to continue to provide stylish affordable clothing, and to build bigger and better things. Growth is always on the agenda. So make sure that you guys always stay tuned, because The JG Clothing LLC will always be presented something positive and new.
