Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashley Robinson.
Hi Ashley, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I created Better Boost™ because I saw a gap no one else was addressing. Not just in wearable tech — but in how we think about human potential, energy, and equity. From the beginning, our products weren’t just about looking good or feeling better. They were designed to empower people to perform at their highest level — physically, mentally, and professionally. We started with smart wearables engineered to help people move with power and intention. But the real breakthrough came when I asked: What if we could bring that same power into the classroom? As the world evolved, so did our vision.
While AI was disrupting industries, most public schools were being left behind. The tools existed, but the infrastructure didn’t. That’s when Better Boost™ expanded beyond wearables into what I now call Better Education™ — focused on bringing immersive, accessible tech into real-world learning environments.
Today, we’re exploring the integration of Spatial AI, AR, and XR into classrooms to help students learn faster, retain more, and build the future — We’ve submitted proposals designed to activate citywide learning transformation, and I’ve been honored to collaborate with visionary leaders who see the urgency and opportunity in preparing students for an AI-powered world.
It’s about building systems that work — for everyone. Better Boost™ started as a product line. Now, it’s a movement focused on the future of performance, access, and education.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not even close — but that’s how I knew I was building something real.
When you’re creating something the world hasn’t seen yet, there’s no map. Just instinct, vision, and the responsibility to keep going even when the doors aren’t opening fast enough.
Early on, the biggest challenge was staying ahead of the curve while still staying grounded in service. I had to fund Better Boost™ myself, build the prototypes, create the systems, and navigate industries that weren’t made for someone like me — a Black woman founder disrupting both tech and education.
But the deeper truth is: the resistance became the compass.
Every “no” helped me get clearer. Every delay showed me what needed refining. And every time we were underestimated, we got sharper, smarter, and more aligned.
There’s also the mental challenge — building with speed while staying patient with the timeline. Especially in the public sector, where relationships and policy move differently than the private market. But I’ve learned to honor the process while still pushing for outcomes that matter.
What keeps me grounded is this: Creating a Better World with a Brand Built to Last. The road hasn’t been easy — but the vision is solid, and every challenge has built the resilience behind the brand.
We’ve been impressed with Better Boost™ Tech , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Better Boost™ is a human performance company at the intersection of wearable technology, AI, and education equity. We design tools that empower people to show up as their highest selves — whether that’s in the gym, the classroom, or the boardroom.
We’re most known for our smart wearables — products engineered not just for aesthetics, but for purpose. From energy-boosting apparel to tech-enhanced accessories, we’ve built a brand that merges innovation with intention. One of the moments we’re most proud of was receiving support from Dr. Shaquille O’Neal — someone who not only saw the vision early, but truly understood the mission. That kind of belief from a leader of his caliber doesn’t just validate your work — it inspires you to go even harder.
But what truly sets us apart is the mission behind the product. We’re here to build systems that help people thrive. And that’s why we’ve expanded into Better Education™ — our latest initiative focused on integrating Spatial AI and immersive technology into public school systems. Our goal is to democratize access to advanced learning tools that are typically only available in elite spaces — and to design infrastructure that actually prepares students for the future.
We specialize in immersive learning, AI-powered training systems, and performance technology built for scale. Whether it’s wearable tech that supports physical vitality or XR-based programs that accelerate knowledge retention, everything we do is grounded in one question: How can we help people experience the best version of themselves — and sustain it?
What I’m most proud of is that we built Better Boost™ with zero shortcuts. We didn’t wait for permission. We started with heart, scaled with data, and stayed committed to impact.
This is a transformation brand — and we’re just getting started.
How do you define success?
For me, success isn’t about visibility — it’s about impact.
If the work helps someone feel more confident, more capable, or more connected to their future — that’s success. If it shifts how people see themselves or what they believe is possible, even better. For me, It’s about real change. Quiet wins that compound. Tools that actually improve lives.
That’s the mission behind Better Boost™ — to build tech and systems that empower human performance and unlock potential and rewrite what’s possible for the next generation. Whether it’s through wearables or immersive education, the goal is the same: make life better, and make that impact last.
Better Boost™ has always been about more than product — it’s about purpose. That’s the kind of work I want to do. And the kind of world I want to help build
