Today we’d like to introduce you to Claire Robinson.
Hi Claire, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’m a registered nurse and the founder of Afterglow Anti-Aging & IV Therapy, a nurse-owned wellness clinic based in the Atlanta area. I have about nine years of nursing experience, including work in pediatrics and travel nursing, which allowed me to care for a wide range of patients and gain experience in many different clinical environments.
About four years ago, I transitioned into the wellness space and became especially interested in preventative health and helping people feel their best before problems arise. During that time, I also began my own personal health journey and became passionate about the role that nutrition, micronutrients, and lifestyle play in overall well-being.
Through my experience working in the wellness industry, I also saw how important it is for medical treatments to be guided by qualified medical professionals. In a rapidly growing industry, there can sometimes be significant influence from individuals without a medical background, and I strongly believe that safety, compliance, and clinical decision-making should always be led by trained healthcare providers.
Those experiences ultimately inspired me to start Afterglow Anti-Aging & IV Therapy. My goal was to create a wellness practice that blends medical expertise with a personalized, elevated client experience while prioritizing safety, education, and evidence-based care.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
While the business itself has grown smoothly and the support I’ve received from clients and the community has been incredible, there was actually a lot of personal uncertainty when I first started.
When I launched the business, I was about three months pregnant, my husband was temporarily out of work due to some health issues, and I was still relying on my corporate wellness job for health insurance. It was definitely a huge leap of faith and, in many ways, a bit of a gamble to start something new during that time.
Despite the uncertainty, I trusted my instincts and believed in the vision for what I wanted to build. Looking back, I’m incredibly grateful I trusted my gut and took that leap. It truly ended up being one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
We’ve been impressed with Afterglow Anti-Aging & IV Therapy, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Afterglow Anti-Aging & IV Therapy is a nurse-owned wellness clinic based in the Atlanta area focused on helping people feel their best through science-backed wellness and regenerative treatments. We offer services such as IV vitamin therapy, wellness injections, regenerative skin treatments such as PRP microneedling, and advanced wellness therapies including peptide support designed to help optimize energy, recovery, metabolism, and healthy aging.
One thing that truly sets Afterglow apart is that the business is built and operated by a registered nurse with nearly a decade of clinical experience. Safety, compliance, and education are at the core of everything we do. Every treatment is thoughtfully designed with a medical perspective, and we take the time to educate our clients so they understand exactly what they’re receiving and how it supports their health.
We also focus heavily on creating an elevated, personalized experience. Wellness shouldn’t feel intimidating or overly clinical. Our goal is to create an environment where clients feel comfortable, cared for, and confident in the treatments they’re receiving.
Brand-wise, I’m most proud of building something that truly reflects my values- combining medical integrity with a modern, approachable wellness experience. At the end of the day, Afterglow is about helping people feel energized, confident, and supported in their health journey.
How do you think about happiness?
What makes me happiest is helping people feel better and more confident in their own bodies. As a nurse, there’s something incredibly rewarding about seeing someone come in feeling exhausted, run down, or frustrated with their health and leave feeling energized, supported, and hopeful.
Building my own business has also been a huge source of happiness for me. It’s been incredibly fulfilling to create something that reflects my values and prioritizes safety, education, and truly personalized care.
Outside of work, I’m happiest spending time with my family and preparing for this new chapter of becoming a mom. It’s been a really special season of life, and it’s reminded me how important it is to take care of our health so we can fully show up for the people and moments that matter most.
