Hi Claudia, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Almost eight years ago, when I moved to Bogotá, Colombia, my journey in the nail industry began. I started in a self-taught way, driven by passion and a strong desire to learn. Over time, I decided to pursue formal training, complete courses, and earn certifications to provide professional, high-quality services.

When I arrived in the United States five years ago, I didn’t leave my dreams behind. I started from the ground up, adapting spaces in my home to create a fully compliant and professional studio. I began in Norcross, and through dedication and hard work, I grew my business and eventually moved to Grayson.

The most meaningful part of this journey has been the loyalty of my clients, who have trusted me from the very beginning and have supported me every step of the way—even following me to my new location.

I truly love what I do. It’s not just about nails; it’s about dedication, attention to detail, commitment, and nearly eight years of experience built with passion, consistency, and love for my profession.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has definitely not been an easy road. I began my career in Colombia, which is not my home country—I was born in Venezuela. Starting over in a different culture, surrounded by unfamiliar customs and people, required resilience and adaptability. Although it came with challenges, I remain deeply grateful for how I was welcomed and supported.

Moving to the United States presented an even greater challenge, as I had never been here before. I had to start from zero once again—adapting to a new language, multiple cultures, different regulations, biosecurity standards, and unfamiliar products and industry practices. It required determination, continuous learning, and perseverance.

Despite the obstacles, I have built a strong reputation within my local community and am recognized for the quality and professionalism of my work. That recognition means everything to me, as it represents not only my talent, but the resilience and dedication behind my journey.

Claudia Palacio Beauty Studio has grown far beyond its humble beginnings. What started as a small setup has evolved into a fully adapted, safe, and relaxing space where every client feels cared for and valued. My studio is designed to provide not just a service, but an experience.

I am known for delivering clean, detailed, and long-lasting work. My nail services are carefully performed to ensure durability—often lasting four to eight weeks—while prioritizing the health and integrity of the natural nail. I do not rush, nor do I work excessively slow; I work with intention and precision so that every client receives quality results. My philosophy centers on protecting and strengthening the natural nail, enhancing its beauty while maintaining a natural, healthy look over time.

In addition to nail services, we offer massage therapy, including post-operative and lymphatic drainage massages, as well as brow services such as shaping, facial waxing, and brow pigmentation. We operate Monday through Sunday with extended hours to accommodate busy schedules. As a mother of a two-year-old, I understand the importance of flexibility and strive to support other women and mothers by offering early appointments when needed—sometimes as early as 5:00 a.m.

I work with high-quality brands, including Organic Nails, a Mexican brand known for being 10-free, meaning its products are formulated without harsh or harmful ingredients commonly found in the nail industry. This allows me to provide safer, less invasive services while maintaining exceptional results.

Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
Georgia is a state that I truly love. I appreciate its beautiful vegetation and the way all four seasons are present without being extreme. It is peaceful, scenic, and serene—qualities that resonate deeply with me.

Atlanta is a vibrant and impressive city, filled with beautiful architecture, bright lights, and a dynamic energy. At the same time, I am grateful to live in Grayson, a growing community that offers tranquility and a strong sense of pride. It is clean, organized, and full of hardworking people who care about maintaining beautiful neighborhoods. Although we are not in the center of the city, everything is conveniently accessible, and my location is especially ideal for my clients, as many of them live nearby. That accessibility is something I truly value.

If there is one thing I would change, it would simply be being a little closer to the heart of the city. Other than that, I have nothing negative to say about Georgia, Atlanta, or Grayson. This community has welcomed me, supported me, and become home.
